It won't be Stagecoach drivers wages that's for sureKT has signed a 5 year contract with us...Wonder what wages he will be on..
Less than a Taxi Driver I heard!KT has signed a 5 year contract with us...Wonder what wages he will be on..
I'd think Osmand is earmarked by BR as his Odsonne Edouard this time around. Young, 19 y.o., striker who will come in as third choice but will get opportunities like Eddy did. It wouldn't surprise me if Idah & Maeda are the two main strikers along with young Callum and Johnny Kenny either goes out on loan or is sold (probably the latter).
A new first choice striker will only be signed, imo, if we get offered silly money for Daizen, although with Jota injured, and Daizen needed wide left, then an older, experienced striker may be brought in to bolster the squad (Danny Ings on a free transfer? Or Jamie Vardy?)
Aye. Fed up wi' these pish teenagers like Yamal and Doak and Doue etcSo a 19 year old Fulham reserve striker?Lets hope this one works out.
Nothing against teenagers Ghostie and you've mentioned two teenagers that are light years ahead of Doak and the boy we are going for ..Aye. Fed up wi' these pish teenagers like Yamal and Doak and Doue etc![]()
It seems no matter who we have in recruitment, we always seem to return back to the same players as we have been strongly linked with before. And rarely end up signing them anyway. It is either lazy scouting, lazy journalism or a mix of both.3rd winger we've been linked with today. Does Nicholson only do transfer negotiations one position at a time? Probably the most likely of the rumours and supposedly our signing priority this window
Why not pay the price for Miller?I've had a look at this guy Balikwisha I'm not overly impressed to be honest and his time on the treatment table is a concern.
As far as I can see it would be a major surprise if Celtic buy Lennon Miller given the price it would take.
There's two things here Dungloe as much as everybody knows it's probably the smart thing to do....Celtic drag their heels on price and the boy himself will want first team football... he won't be an automatic starter so on that basis it won't happen for me.Why not pay the price for Miller?
Another John McGinn although a lot more money.
Balikwisha seems to be over his injuries, finished the season strongly and has a habit of scoring in the big games in Belgium. A pacy forward who can play anywhere across the front three is Brendan's ideal player.I've had a look at this guy Balikwisha I'm not overly impressed to be honest and his time on the treatment table is a concern.
We paid more for Arne. Surely if Miller is good enough for the EPL he’s good enough for us. And let’s remember his age…if he comes good they can sell him for a much bigger fee in a few years?Sunderland are ready to bid £10m for Lennon Miller. They've just sold Jobe Bellingham to Dortmund for £30m+ so have the cash to splash.
That'll be that then![]()
Just had the same thought process, although Arne was playing in the German league... And folk moaned about paying that for him... Cant see us paying that for Lennon atm although in a couple of seasons he will be well worth it imho.We paid more for Arne. Surely if Miller is good enough for the EPL he’s good enough for us.
