Transfer Window - Summer 2025

Harsh on Inamura and Murray for that matter ....this is not our priority... absolute nuts.
Hopefully Murray will be part of the squad and given gametime during the season. I can't see Inamura taking any part and will be sent out on loan, doing ok in pre season games isn't going to get him into the first team under BR. You only have to look at the performances from Anderson and Donovan last summer to see that.
I think KT running out of gas after an hour moved a LB up the priority list, assuming it wasn't already up there but just not acted on

This guy is labelled as a CB. Right that’s just what we need…another CB to cover CCV, Scales,Trusty, JSP, Walsh, Murray. Good thinking. If this is true what the fk is going on with the recruitment dept? We are in desperate need of more forward support not more CBs. Can’t believe some genius believes this is a priority of any kind.
😡😡
13 games at LB, 4 games at LM and 4 games at CB last season in Serie A.
Versatile, could sell another CH (Scales or Trusty) and he could cover both LB and LCB.
Welsh will be gone come the end of the window.

So far we have been told a price of 6 mill for a couple of players and have put in bids for 3 mill so they can say we tried that's not trying that's being pitifull the days of picking up good players for under 3 mill are fast disappearing even in that inflated EPL guys that haven't played a first team game are moving for over 10 mill

At least the Huns have moved quickly to bring in their targets whether we rate them or not.
Meanwhile Pete sits staring lovingly at the balance sheet and agonizing whether he should part with any of his shiny pounds.
Sick of this crap every window.
😡😡
Mate you’re mostly bang on there!!apart from the hun thing that every celtic blog is holding up as a template for us this window🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🙄truth is the hunz needed to bring in bodies and lots of them so we can’t really bring they cunts into the war….they bought a guy on Thursday morning and played him Thursday night??that’s desperate…we done the exact same thing when big ange came in buying bodies we even bought hatate in the morning and played him against hearts…🍀🍀

This would be a typical phonecall from Pete to any club they would like to do business with.

Pete..'.We have put a bid in for 3 million, I know you want 5...Our 3 million stands, and, if you don't get him sold before the end of the window, maybe we can do a deal on deadline day

I can't get my head around how they do business at celtic. We want top dollar for our players , yet we just insult every club we try and do business with by offering less than half of what the club value their players at.
They must have a good laugh in the office when celtic phone. I bet they put the call on loud speaker so the whole room can laught at Lawwell or Nicholson

It was good to see our saviour back at Paradise wasn't it? Fergus: just to hear the name evokes feelings of eternal gratitude. A name that deserves a place alongside Walfrid, Maley, Stein, McGrory etc.
It was also interesting to note that he travelled on public transport. A man of the people? Or a man of frugal habit?
"Not one thin dime" comes to mind.

So, I can't help but wonder what Fergus would make of the utter madness that has wreaked havoc with the once beautiful game.

Would he splash the cash?

Celtic have been told they need to be more like rivals Rangers in the way they conduct their transfer business.
Go Ahead Eagles chairman Jan Willem van Dop says he has dealt with both Glasgow clubs in recent weeks and found a stark difference between them.
Van Dop said at the end of July that the club would only sell one of wingers Oliver Antman and Jakob Breum this summer. Rangers were linked with Antman, while he said Celtic had made contact about Breum.
Since then, Antman has completed a move to Ibrox and made his debut, and an instant impact, in the Champions League qualifier against Viktoria Plzen.
Breum remains a Go Ahead player, while Celtic have been criticised for their lack of major signings in the transfer window so far.
The Dutch club’s chairman says Celtic’s offer was nowhere near Go Ahead’s valuation of Breum, and advised the club to up their game if they want to land their targets.
“Celtic showed some interest in Jakob Breum, but we felt that the gap between us was too wide,” Van Dop told Algemeen Dagblad.
“Things moved very quickly with Oliver Antman and Glasgow Rangers. Celtic could have taken a leaf out of Rangers’ book, haha.”
