I understand the terminology. People outwith the medical professions class a broken bone as a complete fracture. If you had a hairline fracture on your tibia, you wouldn't say you have a broken your leg.
Yet if you broke you leg and someone asks if it was a bad brake, you might say yes, it was a spiral fracture, which is a particularly nasty broken bone
So in the press if they say the player has a fracture they normally don't mean it's a bad brake

Talking to my nephew today who has a pal of Greig Taylor.
Says that Taylor knows the Tierney deal is already agreed apparently for the summer window and not this one.
Both BR and John Kennedy have asked Taylor to stay but despite being offered a big pay rise Taylor saying he does not want to be playing the Ralston back up role at Left back if KT coming back so looks like he will be moving elsewhere but more likely in the summer....
Good luck to him. Hope he gets a good move. If I was him I would try and get a move yo a hot country. Scottish players seem to be doing well in Italy

You don't get brakes on your bones. Breaks maybe. 🦴

Tured out the bad sprain was i had yore every ligament in my ankle.

Yes I understand that but the Scottish football press don't.

So as a doctor, if you diagnosed someone as having skin splints, would you tell the person that they have 2 broken legs?
