transfer window

I went to the hospital after fucking mu ankle playing football. They had me in a wheelchair, took me down to E&A and the doctor cut my boot & sock off, said I had broken it but they need to x-ray it to see how bad the brakes it is.
After the x-ray, he said its just a bad sprain and told me to leave. Didn't even get a fucking paracetamol lol
Tured out the bad sprain was i had yore every ligament in my ankle.
I joined bupa after that, fuck the nhs
Never mind your bodily particles... did the fecker offer to pay for new boots and socks?

Similar experience. Damaged shoulder playing rugby. NHS Consultant more or less said "Tha's not goin t'die - be reet. Nah bugger off!" (local terminology).

Went to BUPA with my arm hanging off and it needed a full reconstruction!

On KT and the news tonight on sky that talks on a pre contract agreement are " going well", I'm not usually for players coming back, especially the successful ones.
KT is different for me in this instance, if we get him we're getting a top quality player at 27. If he was older than this say in his early 30s and back for a swansong then I'm sure I'd feel differently.
KT still has his peak years ahead of him , getting him will definitely elevate standards in the team, on his injury record yes he's had it tough but always battled back to fitness and back to form.
We had a world class footballer once I was certain I'd seen the end of his career, Henry something...

This has the feel of the usual Celtic project signing the club make money on more often than not
I have never heard of him before - but no surprise there as I don't follow much European football. He might be excellent but we have a couple of similar aged youths who deserve a chance. I was hoping to be bringing in a few established players with more experience rather than more longer term young projects.

Obviously if he does join us then I will give him my full support and hope he is a massive success for us.

My feelings exactly BB. But I suppose we have to trust the process, now that we have a new guy in place, and with Lawell apparently out of the picture. Or at least it appears so.

Project signings don't cost £7m, the fee his club want for him.
15 goals and 15 assists in 2024 Norwegian season.
Italian clubs also interested in him.

His current teammates are ex-Celts Stefan Johansen and Jo Inge-Beret
I suppose if we're getting close to £5m for Bernabei with Holm and Welsh going out on Loan the shrewd business we are doing will again see no loss in the pot allowing us to continue to strengthen.

I see we are taking the usual long run up to the transfer window approach
This is the problem with only having £80m in the bank. You have to offload your previous last-minute transfer failures first, before you are allowed to take out the fax machine from Lawwell's heavily guarded vault. Our recruitment team usually awakes from their comatose slumber the day before the window slams shut.

Not the same worry as last year, for me. We are in a good place just now. So, we have time to focus on getting the right players in. Hopefully those that are first team ready and capable of having an immediate impact. We are making progress on outgoings as well. Absolutely necessary, as we have been overloaded with players, who were not going to be part of our first team going forward.
