We just binge watched the 8 episode series The Waterfront. If you liked Animal Kingdom, you'll enjoy this one, as one of the main characters was in Animal Kingdom.

I'm watching The Son on ITVX at the moment... Pierce Brosnan is in it.
Centres around Texas and the fight for land and Oil with the Mexicans and Indians .....pretty decent.

Took step daughter to cinema Saturday night after the game then took step son to cinema Sunday and the cinema is fucked both venues empty
And now the big one in glasgow is closing (hopefully landlord keeps it as cinema tho and hope the staff don’t get paid off)
Cinema is still the best place to watch movies
Take your loved ones before they all shut and the cinema becomes a past memory

Yeah the odeon was a rip off tbf but following day went to wee local cinema and was half the price
(Vue cinemas are not that pricey either)

My broadband has been down for a wee while and tbh I've not been missing it that much so I've cancelled it until I've got the time to use it again ( probly this winter).
Reading folks other good suggestions and what came to mind that i thought was really good was ' Marco Polo', (2014)- Netflix.
Benedict Wong, who plays Wong in Dr Strange and Marvel's Avengers movies played Kublai Kahn quite brilliantly.
It was a pity there were only 2 seasons, (20 episodes) of this, its set on a scale similar to Game of Thrones and well worth a watch for anyone who's not seen it yet.

Benedict Wong is in another good TV series ' The 3 body problem' , another Netflix programme where only the first season has been released so far, it's set in the past, present and future where Earth encounters an alien civilization that isn't the friendliest of neighbours.
