The next 5 league games before we go to Ibrox
Falkirk h
Aberdeen a
Livingston h
Kilmarnock a
Hibs h

The Huns games are
Hibs a
Kilmarnock h
Motherwell a
Hearts h
Livingston a

Hearts games are
Dundee Utd a
St Mirren a
Hibs h
Rangers a
Falkirk h

We need 5 wins, nothing less will do. They will both drop points. We could conceivably go to Ibrox at least a couple of points ahead of them, and closed the gap on Hearts.
But only if we win 5 out of 5. To do that MON needs bodies in the door by next Monday. Sign a centre half, right winger and at least one, preferably two midfielders and we still have a chance.

Huns could easily lose 3 of their games, Hearts one, maybe a couple of draws.

We take 4 out of five and a draw, we're poised to blitz the Huns out of contention, take care of Hearts after the split to win the title. IF we get another couple of decent players in before end of window. Big week incoming.

I think we're more likely to lose players in this window - but I'm ok with that since what we have just hasn't been good enough. The board are trolling us now and don't give a fuck about buying anyone that will enhance the team.

The next seven days or so are crucial. I hope the revolving doors are well lubricated. The season either starts or ends, depending on business done....or not.

From a selfish point of view, I can't find any great enthusiasm for making the pilgrimage to Paradise for the rest of the season.

I'm not a glory hunter, not an entitled brat who thinks we should win just because we're Celtic.

I have to say though, I can't remember feeling such a disconnect with our club.

Still, I'm sure our suits are gonna surprise us by signing two or three absolute stoaters.

Hopefully catch up soon.

Hail Hail.

If the board are have any kind of business vision they will know that bolstering the squad is essential. If they don’t and the title goes to sevco they will spend every penny of the Champions League money on recruitment and possibly leave us in their wake
This isn't just about this season, this is about next season and beyond. The balance of power will shift quickly if we don't start addressing it immediately.
Champions League? If we finish in our current position of 3rd it'll be three qualifying rounds for the Conference League next season.

Next 5 teams and whoever the cheating ref is .That sending of yesterday and the injury time added at the end has me very concerned about the officials .Our players need to do better to overcome this and our board need to further strengthen this squad to give us a chance. Its still there to be won .

If this comes to pass Sandman you will score 10 out of 10.

The added on time has to be questioned aswell??your correct..we were beating Dundee Utd 4-0 flying and they added a total of 4 minutes that was both halves??don’t have a clue were they dug up 8 yesterday??😏😏

There is a very good possibility we will still be in Europe after Thursday. These Thursday night games definitely affect our performance at a weekend even a Sunday. So we have factor that in.
A defeat or a draw this Thursday would probably be no bad thing, as far as domestic football goes.

I know where your coming from regarding the league etc....however I'm in the camp that believe playing against better players brings your own game up a bit makes you sharper etc, and the boost it would give everyone fans and especially the players would be beneficial to our league run in, assuming ofcourse we get another couple of first team ready players in and one or two back off the treatment table..

But if you have a stronger squad then this should not be a problem. Celtic should be expecting to - and planning for - playing twice a week for most of August through to February. With the use of 5 subs, this should be easier to rotate players without a noticeable drop off in quality, as well as allow us to develop our on youths too (I don't mean playing the occasional cup tie or coming on in the 88th minute to waste time either).

If we do qualify on Thursday night the home leg of the play off round will be before the Hibs at home game with the away leg before going to Ibrox.
