That is an interesting point - maybe it would be worth delaying his debut until we play on a normal grass pitch? Rather than risk him getting off to a funny start (which our media will never tire of reminding him/us about) due to some dodgy bounce on this farce of a pitch.

When you consider the three of the cheapskate teams in our league can’t afford ground staff or grass, he’d better get used to it quick 😫

No point delaying the inevitable. Too many teams in our league with that surface.
