I fuckin knew it and said it here at the time as did many other people on here. Nethanyahu knew all along this attack was happening and not only done nothing, but facilitated it.

It waa obvious to many people that the most active and sophisticated secret service in the world not only knew about the Hamaa plans but actively facilitated it. This then gave the Israeli powerbrokers the excuse they sought to launch their latest land-grab and genocide against their enemies.

Sadly the lives of hundreds of ordinary Israeli citizens were allowed to be sacrificed so that the horrendous revenge could be facilitated. It appears from this report that not only did vert senior officials high up in the Israeli Defence & Government have precise details about exactly how Hamas would launch these strikes but that their plans indicated a very high level knowledge of the secret Israeli defensive operations.

Does this mean that not only did the Israelis deliberately ignore Hamas's plans but may even have assisted in writing them using under-cover agents? I obviously do not know. But what I do know is that too many innocent people are being slaughtered and their lives being made intolerable due to religious hatred, and I wish it would stop.

Yes that it exactly it. Hamas went to far and as a result I NOW lack empathy with the people of Palestine.

My wish to see Hamas wiped out is nothing to do with vengence and everything to do with having a response that ensures nothing like October 7th happens again.

Hamas could do themselves and everyone else a favour by handing over the remaining hostages, until that is done I have no interest in critising the IDF.

To be honest it seems strange to me as well.

My revulsion at what Hamas did, and is continuing to do, has left me not caring about the plight of the Palestinian people until the women and children being held hostage are released.

It his also left me unable to even contemplate critism of the IDF, until all the women and children hostages are released.

I realise that is not a popular position to take, but that's how I feel and I'm not going to pretend I feel otherwise just because it's an unpopular position and has led to me being labled a hun.

The IDF have shown that despite the hostages, they will conduct whatever operations they think are needed.

So the hostages have no vallue to the people holding them. In which case the only reason to keep them is out of pure vindictiveness.

Let them go if they're alive, or release their bodies if their dead, otherwise your just scum.

I can’t relate at all to what you’re describing here, in relation your lack of care for the people of Palestine, but your opinion on this is all too popular in the west. I suspect this is why many of our governments are so comfortable supporting the genocidal forces of the IDF.

Overnight the IDF just massacred over 200 Palestinian civilians by launching airstrikes on towns in South Gaza and following them up with troops attacking these towns.

For weeks now Israel have stopped fuel, water, food, electricity and medical supplies from getting into Gaza. That is pure evil and inhumane.

They told civilians to leave North Gaza immediately a couple of weeks ago and go to South Gaza. If they never left everything they owned - and family members too frail to flee - then it was their fault that they were carpet bombed into oblivion.

And now, where are the IDF concentrating their bombing now? The same place they told the civilians to flee to. OK, the Israelis were already bombing refugee camps, hospitals and schools in South Gaza before the ceasefire, so the refugees should have known that fleeing to there was not a safe option either. As they realistically had nowhere safe to go then they should have done the decent thing and committed suicide so that Israel did not have to waste money replacing expensive weapons!

I don't get any kind of kick out of arguing my corner. Several times I've wanted to just leave it, but with the amount of abuse I've been getting, including being called a hun, I felt I had to keep replying.

As previously stated, when Hamas realease the women and children hostages I'll show concern for the plight of the Palrstinian people. Until then all of my sympathies lie with the hostages.

Your coming at this from the wrong angle
The IDF have wreaked havoc on the Palestinians for years
If you’ve watched the documentaries I have you will see them breaking limbs/bones to inflict maximum pain on kids
Digging death pits and throwing living people in and shooting them
The IDF are every bit as bad as Hamas
Don’t confuse peoples sympathy for Palestinians with taking a side.

But the majority of people that are being killed are kids that don’t have food never mind weapons
