As reported by Alison McConnell on Twitter a monent ago.

"Timothy Weah has signed an extension to his current PSG deal. Now expected in Glasgow in next 48 hours to sign six month loan with Celtic."

Another six month loan deal? Would have preferred 18 months for him. Fillling the gaps temporarily. If this is a team going for 8 in a row I fear how it's going to be when we near the 10.

Parent clubs responsibility. Cetic no risk.

Whats not to like.

At least we didn’t fuck up our keys to the gaff

Think the players have took enough bashing this week but Boyata is a player i would love to see out the door
His conduct last summer was disgraceful. I changed my mind on it and began to welcome him back, due to the standard of his performances. But the statement from his agent recently was a huge slap in the face to the Celtic fans who pay his wages. Not an ounce of respect for us and our club. And the fact it came off the back of that nightmare he had at the Hunnery was just adding insult to injury.

I've never rated him but he did improve after the world cup.Far too lightweight and gives me the fear when hes got the ball at his feet a panic merchant.Another i would like to see the back of is Sinclair great first season but been pish since and an utter shitebag of a player .Still have faith in the team and the board unlike some on here .HH

I don’t mind the signings we’ve made so far, aslong as the defence is sorted.

If they leave the defence as is then I’ll be a bit more weary. It’s been clear for so long we need more back there.

The 6 month loan deals will provide some cover in positions we are already in a good position with, giving JF a bit of a break and with an inconsistent Eddy our striking option while LG is recovering and MJ is learning, Weah can be there if needed.

Boyatas conduct was shocking but I think he came back and done a job, which is what we needed. He was on many occasion, our best defensive player.

Happy for him to go, because he clearly doesn’t want to be here but we knew that from the last window.

What"s the point of 6 month loan deals?

If we are serious about CL Group Stages next season we want players already bedded in not be scrambling around looking for otbers at the end of August and using the same players we already have in the qualifiers
That is of course if we win the League

Bill, sometimes the solution is a new hip.....and sometimes it is a sticking plaster. We need a hip replacement, but we also need a plaster!
