Sending best wishes to my footballing hero, King Kenny. He has confirmed he is undergoing treatment for cancer . He has raised so many £millions over the years to improve cancer treatment, following his wife's battle with this bastard of a disease.

Also, same to Kevin Keegan who is battling stage 4 cancer.

And now John Barnes has revealed he has prostate cancer. Sending best wishes to him too. He was a shite manager but what a player he was in the late 80s.
 
The mind boggles the 3 of them are the products of training regimes and played football on a weekly basis yet between Football and Rugby there not a month goes by that we don’t hear about some top players suffering from one type of illness mostly Cancer or Moternuron both killers it makes you think why ?? It’s not just the one person in a family who suffers it’s everyone, my heart goes out to them having seen two Sisters die from Cancer not a nice experience hope they all recover in time Ihate to think of the other solution Bless All Three Of Them

Well said Digger.Cancer is such an insidious disease which has touch so many of us, in one way or another. I have had a couple of weeks to forget, since my last hospital stay a few weeks ago. But we are getting through it as a family and that's what counts. Hopefully, you are all doing ok, and whatever you're dealing with, in your life, I wish you the best. HH

They moved and petted Georgia, turned out they were nice kids, and we spoke for twenty minutes, one of whom was with our local pro team...they left and said goodbye and waved, happy in the knowledge that the auld guy, wasn't really that bad... it's always fun interacting with the youth of today 😆
Now, where's my pitchfork...there are villagers to be educated

Sorry to hear about your troubles bigman. Asthma is a cunt. My young lad has it and it's scary when he gets an attack. The biggest game changer for him was a salt fan. It runs in his room when he sleeps and every 3 months you change the filter. It also has many other health benefits. Give it a go.

My mother died of lung, many years ago she chose not to have chemo ect as a nurse she knew how terrible the treatment was with little success in those days.
However both my brother and myself have survived cancer free for 7 and 8 yrs.
The treatment today is still pretty rough but the survival rate has improved enormously.
When I seen the oncologist for the first time he told me people with my type of cancer have a 70% chance of survival, I thot to myself I'll take those odds.

Ps I think that pissed my misses off she likes a good wake.
I jest of course if it wasn't for her looking after me I wouldn't be here today as she like my mother is a nurse,

Yeah I've been blessed with several challenges
We take them head on, one at a time
I'll take a look at that link
We have an air purifier in the livingroom, and an AC in the livingroom, and bedroom
This is the worst allergen season by far, loads of people being admitted to hospital with breathing difficulties
The worst part is the shallow breathing, and being unable to catch your breath...genuinely scary, but you have to keep calm and do the pursed lips breathing which gets more air in the lungs
I feel for your boy, the young deserve to enjoy life without these flare ups
Never had anything like that in Scotland, and we were out in all weathers with just a t shirt...anyway, best of luck with you family
I'm on the mend, HD meds help and the puffers...ach, if it was easy, it wouldn't be any fun 😆

My mate has a Himalayan Pink Salt Lamp for his Asthma. He swears by it. Said he has not had an attack since he got it.

I saw an article online about some product endorsed supposedly by Tom Selleck, Snoop Dawg and others, but when I did some research, it's a scam trying to get people's money, so if you see anything like that, supposedly touted by Elon Musk, which I doubt...just ignore it...it's a scam
