I was, when plunged into deep despair
Into the shop I'd nipped for fags
And the headline shrieked from the tabloid rag
My heart stopped, my mouth fell open
No Way! I thought, You must be jokin!
I forgot the fags and the fact I was late
As I read the words - surely a mistake?
I rushed into work looking for proof
(the rag I'd read not renowned for the truth)
But my fears were confirmed, no others to blame,
I was in shock - he has no shame!

I was in the old Yugoslavia mixing teenagers of my age 15 that where on a trip with their school from Edinburgh and they where all diet Huns I got it right for just about the full fortnight until I reminded them of the immortal Albert Kidd that put them back in they’re boxes.
I came home to a mock up picture out the daily ranger of him in a Huns top (they couldn’t wait for the official photo) that my brother thought would be funny since he seen my reaction before I went on holiday to see him in a celtic top. Never forgive him or Judas for what they done

Seemed a strange question for a first post on the forum, and the forum has been stung before... Imho bringing that up would be suspicious and the sceptics among us have the right to ponder on the reason behind it from a unknown poster...

This is not my first post (I'm on here as 'Member' not 'New Member'). Just haven't posted for a long time, but look in almost daily. Was on a bit of a roll today - I also posted on the 'Euros 24' thread. I get the scepticism re lurkers and know it's not personal.
My original post/poem about that wee fucker MJ was published many years ago in a Celtic writing competition publication. I was only interested in The Noise's members recollection of that day. I don't know what's worse - the fact it still hurts or that it was THIRTY FIVE years ago, when I could get up off a chair without doin the Billy Connolly noises.

No worries here mate... Hadn't seen your moniker before.... So welcome back and post Away... The snide in question isn't imho worth a mention... But as you asked... I spent the day laughing at huns having a meltdown and burning season books due to the fact they had been sold down the river by the board ( same as it ever was eh).... And I remember feeling extremely sorry for Billy McNeil..... As I've said before they stole him by promising to pay his tax bill.... O the fuckin irony in that statement... Anyhoo that lot are deed...
