I think Gilmour is a good enough player. As you say, the problem some fans have is he is ridiculously over-hyped.

I think we will be missed as he offers us something different, but we have far more important midfielders than him. As a Scotland fan I want the best possible squad for the tournament.
 
I read this last night and was hoping someone can confirm or deny it.
Celtic players were consistently overlooked for Scotland selection. After Celtic had reached the European Cup final and two weeks before it 7 Celtic players were picked for a meaningless friendly against the Soviet Union. Is that true? If it is what is the SFAs thinking behind this? Why select them now?
Were they expecting (hoping for?) a rough game?

Fair play to young Tyler Fletcher who has a lot of potential. But to take a player who has played a total of just 60 minutes senior football in his entire career to date (including yesterday) instead of someone like Lennon Miller who played 1000 minutes in Serie A this season alone is baffling.

If you think the BBC is biased on the mens game when it comes to Celtic....you should hear the fucking woman's game being commentated on. Its more biased than Rangers TV. The woman, a female version, of Ally McCoist, must have played for the huns cause my god...she hasnt mentioned Celtic once in the game. Its all about what Sevco cows have to do.
