Japanese media reporting today.

“Transfer - Gamba Osaka / Ideguchi to Celtic
agreed between clubs, scheduled to travel to the UK by the end of the year for medical check.

“An agreement between clubs has been reached.

“Celtic had previously submitted a bid of over €1m, which is understood to have been accepted today.

“There are still visa issues remaining to be sorted, but the player has been scheduled to travel to the UK and undergo a medical check by the end of the year.

Very cheap deal for a guy who's got it all to prove since it never worked out before in Europe I'm hopeful having kyogo will help this lad settle wit u do get from Asian players is work rate at the minimum cud be a good squad filler for that price

Looks like a confidence building job this one. Clearly had the talent at one stage and we have a good squad environment for the rebuild job. Could end up being a steal!

looks ok from his clips - some good passing and a bit of dig. Pretty clear Ange isn't sold on Soro & McCarthy as DM options.
He seems to have a good ball over the top. something we are needing more of to get the best out of Kyogo
Could even allow Calmac to push up a bit if it works out
