Your Unsung Celtic Heroes

To me he was the sort of player you could have built a team around, passionate , committed, inspiring a bloody leader when things got nasty. Don't remember if he was capped by England but I don't recall them having many better defenders than him.
Paul got a few U21 caps and 1 'B' international cap. Sadly his career was ended at 30 by a despicable cowardly stamp by Dean Saunders who was sued by Elliott.

He was awful his 1st season for us with a load of bookings then was amazing the year after.

A name that is seldom mentioned in the history of the Lisbon Lions, Joeseph McBride, scored 36 goals by Christmas, suffered a horrendous injury in December (1966) and never kicked a ball again that season. By the end of season 66/67 Joseph McBride was confirmed as the League's Top Goalscorer. Joe (as we knew him) would have set Europe alight had we had his services, unfortunately we did'nt and so those that followed him wrote their own pieces of Celtic folklore. The Lisbon Lions were supreme, nothing touched them, but it does make the imagination wander that had we Joe McBride how far would we have went?

Kilmarnock game October 2011, 3-0 down, huns running away with the league. Stokesy free kick, then he gets another and Charlie equalised. Turning point of the season right there. Lose that game who knows where Lennon's career goes. They were maybe 11 points down at one point. Legendary hunskelper requires no qualification.
That's it who knows where or how it would have went? Ronnie Delia got pumped after being a wining manager.
