I think we'd play far better with Brown out the starting 11, I agree it's the full squad & management teams responsibility but we're always told about Browns leadership skills, motivation, galvinizing, every one playing better when he plays etc & its just not happened under Brown as captain in one of our most important ever sessions. Add all the CL Qualification failures under him too & it just renders his motivation skills a myth at this point.I think the blame has to be levelled at the whole squad. I think you're getting so much grief due to the fact brown seems to be taking the full brunt of your blame. We have no idea how useful he could be this season. This is due to the whole team and management completely failing as one. Do you think we would somehow start playing better with brown out the squad? We are all over the place on the park. Turnbull or soro aren't going to fix it im afraid.
Why wait till next season when there's tonight? You're the one that mentioned the word pussy, what you doing tonight?Read ur messages, no laffed so much in Yrs.. Our biggest win of the decade came without him in the team, Barca. He has definitely dragged the team through some big games in the past. You can't deny that. And when he's been missing we have been poor. I cant judge him on his own this season as the team as a whole has been shite. He shouldn't be playing every game though. We need to start giving the other guys a chance
I feel for brown. He's 35 and is being asked to work harder than at any point in his career due to poor management and a squad of players around him who seem to have chucked it. He doesn't appear to have the fitness levels and the bite he once had. But no one at celtic has his experience. If turnbull or soro replace him they are likely to fail, and feel the wrath of a very angry Celtic support who will batter their confidence by demanding a world class CM in January. Unfortunately we appear to be fucked no matter what we do
Wee finger up each othersLove is in the air. Nice meal. We beer. All socially distant though!!

I think we've failed in far too many Qualifiers, Knockout Ties & Cup ties under him as captain to hold his leadership skills to any high standard.
We went on a run of domestic dominance because of one man & that's Brendan, whether folk want to call him a rat or whatever is up to them but that's the truth.
That's an insult to rats hes a fucking snake! Our biggest win of the decade came without him in the team, Barca.

Do you know how many games we won before Brown joined the club between 2000-2006? The answer is loads, loads & loads & loads, something that will always happen when we're the biggest, richest & best team in the country regardless of a certain captain leading the team.If we want to go down the stat route then brown has captained celtic to more wins than losses. Take the whole cup scenario out of it because, unfortunately, we arent the best team in the world and no matter what brown does in games, we just aren't going to win. What stats don't tell you is just how many, of the many many many matches we won, with brown as our captian, he was the one who dragged the players through. When they were dead on their feet after playing 40 matches and only have 1 week before a new season for the last 6 years. He was there pushing them on on the pitch. Making sure their standards didn't slip. If you can credit Brendan and his tactics and him shouting orders from the sidelines then you just have to give brown as much credit on the field.

The number of CL/EL Qualification failures, CL/EL Knockout Tie failures after Christmas & cup failures under him as captain is staggering truth be told, hence why I've never bought into the leadership skills myth that everyone claimed he has which transformed us on the park.
Now of course I know it's a team game & I'm obviously not solely blaming him for the number of failed big matches he's been a part of, but it definitely takes away the leadership skills we're all told about, the motivation, the making players better around him stuff we've always heard.
We've failed to qualify for the CL under him more times than we have? Not as if we've lost to elite teams either, we've been losing them to absolute diddies with a fraction of our resources, the leadership skills were absent in all those failures, costing the club hundreds of millions in lost revenue. So what season did you play under brown then?? You have no idea what he brings to the guys on the park. We can only go by what players and managers have said about him. You blame him, partly, as captain for the matches we have lost under him but can't give him credit for matches we have won under him. Doesn't make sense.
