Mine are mostly from the olden days. Rolling Stones, Trex, the who, Free, the Beatles, John Lennon, Otis reading, Dione Warwick, stevie wonder, dusty springfield, rod stewart. Joe cocker, stevie wonder. Just a few I can remember.
 
Well I am just looking now at my k tel record selector and the first 10 are spacemen 3, captain beefheart, jesus and mary chain, black uhuru, the fall, weather prophets, dylan, tribe called quest, television and teenage fanclub. I don't even have a player any more.
 
Liked the first couple of albums but when bono climbed up his cross that was it for me. For a band with an average drummer, average guitarist and a shite bass player, I can't deny they've took punching above your weight to a remarkable level.

Same with Simple Minds. Didn't mind a bit of I Travel and Waterfront, but when Jim Kerr decided that he came from that small part of Glasgow called Los Angeles - then that was enough for me. Sheena Easton must have went to the same school as Jim, or at least had the same elocution teacher
