Unfortunately for this Belgie, sevco aren't able to fund a transfer warchest as they are unable to prise open their Biscuit Tin-Tin (apologies to our own TTLGBQ+ for referencing Tin-Tin 😉 I can't think of anyone else that's famous and from Belgium).
 
Clement is probably the best of those who were linked with the job. Their main issue is recruitment, not who the head coach is. Clement works with a director of football who would make the signings for him to work with, they don't have a director of football. Beale wasn't that bad a coach, he just recruited poorly, and he was in charge of recruitment because their DoF left and went to Forest. The appointment of a new DoF is more important than the appointment of Clement, and whoever gets the job needs to totally change the whole team with next to no money. Expect some sales in January to fund new players for the new head coach. Butland, Beale's only good signing in the summer, is already being touted with a move back down south. Unfortunately for them the squad is poor quality and on big wages, few teams will be interested in paying the fees they will be looking for or pay the wages the players are on.

I think Muscat would have been a better fit for them.
Some folk say Clement is PLG mark 2, but PLG, mark one would have done a good job for them if it hadn't been for neanderthals like Ferguson.

I think they've got a decent coach, they've also got a shite squad, so I'm not worried
