Our Voices must be Heard

I'm posting this as I would like to hear other people's perspective on Secterian anti catholic/anti Irish Catholic singing, Targeted Abuse, Accusations of being a Paedophile, with no Facts other than your known for Being a Catholic Celtic supporter.

As I raised a complaint to Sky Sports @PoliceScotland @celticfc @RangersFC about the Secterian singing heard, when the broadcaster knows this does not apologise, but if someone swore on daytime TV then apologies a plenty, It's time to Call it out every time and every way. I also registered a complaint to X for the vile comments I received for speaking out. From you know, what set of fans. To absolute disgust X Didn't believe calling a Father of a young catholic family, being a Paedophile as being abusive.

Guess What X didn't uphold my complaint and Barely a word is mentioned about the hate crimes committed at that ground.

What a spectacle of a Derby, well not forme and my young children it wasn't.

How can our Catholic, Celtic and Irish Voices be recognised when we are ignored by all aspects of mainstream media, social media and even the police.

Especially with the new Hate Bill in Scotland is now Law.

There’s a few on here been in touch with Sky. I asked them how describing racist singing calling for Catholics to be killed “as a rocking atmosphere” fitted in with their Kick it Out campaign. If it was about Jews or Muslims would they describe it as rocking? They got back and said “unfortunately with Live Football on TV foul language can sometimes be broadcast”. They dodged the question I asked and answered a question I didn’t ask. I Cancelled Sky that week.
Why do they refuse to condemn it?

And still they turn the volume down on our away support every week making it look like there is no atmosphere... Then its all praise for the Catholic hate fest... I wish Celtic would go it alone on the TV deals...

I didn't receive any reply from Sky Sports or Police Scotland, as for X they dismissed the abuse I received and said that my report has not been upheld. I have since requested X to examine this providing more details, implying a father as a Paedo whilst watching a game of football is an incorrect decision I await there response.

I wish Celtic would call out publicly the broadcaster, the police, the SFA and take a stand on what is now effectively a law in Scotland. Rather than allow us as Supporters having to take action on our own all the time.

In my opinion nothing will be done regarding hate crimes inside Ibrox, it has hardly had a mention.
When at Celtic Park all the nit pickers will be out on force to find something, injustice does not just apply to refereeing, it comes in all forms.
They might even use VAR as that is now policing all things Celtic.
Scotland shame is getting worse.

Totally agree but we shouldn't accept it any longer. We need to call it out and speak up at all times. Even if that means calling out a minority of some of our own fans if the line is crossed.

Ila couple of years back I reported a comment on Facebook - the only time I have ever done it. It was a sickening rant about Ange being a dirty Fenian bastard and paedophile, among many many other disgusting rants. They got back about a week later saying it had been reviewed and it had not violated any of their regulations.

I emailed our then First Minister a few years back about a hate march in the Area of her Constituency. I got a generic reply, I still await a reply from her.
That spoke volumes at the time and still does.
Not sure if bigotry or hate crime will ever be eradicated in Scotland I doubt it will be in my lifetime but I hope it will for the sake of my grandkids and future generations.

The SFA/SPFL have had ample opportunities over many years to at least show a willingness to clamp down on the widely recognised sectarian element at the Klub which proudly proclaims '' Everyone - Anyone '' ( I 've always taken that to mean ''Everyone - Anyone '' is a target for their abuse !)

There have been numerous occasions , both domestically and on European Nights , when they have by their songs/chants /banners /violence shown the World that they do not respect 'anyone /everyone' , particularly if they have any connection to Celtic .

Only UEFA have taken action against them - but the SFA have had decades to act , with countless instances of unacceptable behaviour from their fans , both within and outwith Mordor , yet have acted like the Three Wise Monkeys ! The SPFL is no better .
The greater share of blame , however , lies with the SFA as they have capitulated time and again and failed to act on the ample evidence that the Klub from Mordor have repeatedly brought Football into disrepute by the actions of the Klub , their staff and their supporters .
With the advent of Scotland's new Hate Crime Law I do NOT expect any action from the SFA to trouble the Mordor mindset .

It was clearly demonstrated on Sunday by the appointment of Beaton to the Glasgow Derby ( and Robertson to the Livingston game the week before ) that the SFA are completely opposed to even giving the impression to the Footballing Public that they are even-handed in dealing with Celtic and theRangers . Mordor complains ( repeatedly ) about a referee and he disappears from their games for months ; Celtic complains about two referees and they are immediately appointed to their next two fixtures ! A blatant GIRUY from the custodians of the game !

The thing about paranoia is that sometimes they REALLY are out to get you !

What exactly did you write to Sky and PS? Just cut & paste it and mibbies we can help out here.

And give us the handles of those that abused you on X? We can suss them out as well.

I am not going to pass on the abuse, that came afterwards, let's just say it's been reported to X and to pass on there information is also a breach of their X Policies. So if we are going to do this correctly I will abide by policies and the law. I also went to report this 101 Police Scotland, but waiting on them doing anything. Next step is to write an official complaint to Sky Sports and Ofcom.

And I see TNT Sports and Amazon prime have the guy who announced last week he was going to the weekends game to sing anti Catholic songs doing commentry.... Sad really how he's getting away with it.

I'm a Pagan, I also wear a Celtic Cross, the amount of times I've been called a fenian b*****d, a taiga etc. I've lost count, but if you're hoping for Poilas Alba to do something, I wouldn't hold my breath, because they don't give a fuck.

There was an incident on Sunday when MrsTT, Daughter & I were out watching the match, I won't go into it here, but due to my Celtic Cross I found myself in handcuffs, thank fuck the pub video camera had caught the original incident on camera.

But if you are a Celtic fan equal treatment is something you'll never get in this Country.

It continues to be complete ignorance from all concerned or to put it simpler the ignorant are not concerned at all.
They do not expect to be challenged ....the hate crime legislation has been sneered at by the haters in plain sight and the lack of condemnation from all the usual quarters in our rancid society speaks volumes ....I actually watched an stv interview prior to the game on Sunday were some stv exec was rolled out to make a ludicrous argument about how he didn't envisage hate crime from the hordes as their would be no Celtic supporters in attendance to be offended. I kid you not. What chance have you got. Allegedly.

This is my point of view, Celtic fans need a singular voice to start speaking up on our behalf and calling out all of this...The club isn't willing to step up.

Could a group be formed that is willing to voice our concerns. Like the Celtic Trust... Or others..
