For all of those out there who are not happy about SPFL calling the Leagues early and want transparency into SPFL workings and decision making I have Absoloutely no truck with that

It must be a condition though that The FIVE WAY AGREEMENT is published in full

What goes around comes around

Radio Shortbread trying to get to grips with companies law, too late and BBC and others who are the media gave out the wrong information, the 5 o clock deadline they wrongly assume, was a resolution proposal deadline, it was not it was to gauge opinion and feeling and if the general consensus in the resolution was positive, towards a majority required as set out in writing, it can pass, but as it is a gauge to determine the feeling and thinking, no-one was going to be held to it if they wished not to be unless it was shown an agreed majority members involvedwanted it.

28 days was set aside for a change of minds if any members considered that their no vote may put their club in financial peril. 28 days would have to elapse if it was not carried through so even if Dundee stated no, nothing is ratified until the no votes are given 28 days consideration period and after 28 days the outcome is final. Even if there was a full majority No it would still be 28 days before it is closed to allow a change if clubs decided No is not in their interest. Once a resoloution inserts a 28 days the 28 days must pass unless a clear majority required to push it through is in favour.

Tom English and the BBC put the information out, information they never fully understood, the SPFL are not in breach of companies law they gave a 100 page document with 28 days to clarify the details been asked in the resoloution, but also offered a mechanism to submit their vote early and it would be collected and count towards the final resolution, the crucial point is each and every club had the 100 pages information each club has the services of CEO’s who understand company law to an extaent or should at least the resolution procedure, the bottom line was collusion was taking place between clubs to scupper the resolution, it backfired spectacular, if you do not understand company law do not engage in it without employing the services of someone who does, Ignorance of the law is not an excuse,
Michael Stewart, red face, Tom English red face, BBC red face, Radio Clyde red face, maybe a better investment would be for the media to employ experts in the field as opposed to ex-players and churnalists who do not understand the complexities of law, The SPFL were a step ahead of the loan scam they had been burned with Gretna who went into liquidation and were not a financial Wonga company for clubs, if you want to end the season and among you agree that the positions you are in are the final placing for your pay out of prize money.

None of the clubs on the whatsapp ever made any accusations of the way they viewed the resoloution they all colluded to scupper the resoloution, only once it has passed and Sevco cried their eyes out with a waste of precious bog roll did the usual suspects come out and complain, Hearts and not Dundee have fucked the huns, Hearts will decide their future and will ensure if they get the vote make sure also their is less money in the pot next season.
