Billy McNeil statue appeal hits target!

Great news the £70k needed to erect the statue has been met, the committee will move to the 2nd phase to commission the statue, it is planned to be unveiled May 2021 for the 54th anniversary of his historic lifting of the European cup, thanks to all the Bhoys and ghiles who contributed, however large or small to help get this done
The draw for the Celtic opus book was won by Martin McMahon, ex-committee member of the Mossend Emerald CSC and RE/teacher at Taylor high school New Stevenston.

What an effort and will be brilliant to see a tribute to Cesar in his home town. The proximity to the Crown Bar is of course an added bonus. May next year. I wonder what day?
