After releasing their annual accounts more than 2 weeks late Sports Direct have issued profits warnings Indeed they have indicated that their position may be TERMINAL

With regard to SEVCO and their current financial position......

Who is gonna go TITS UP first? ?

HH?

Sports Direct stated House Of Frazer's position may be terminal; not SD's. They bought HOF in a firesale for around 90m but found the company owes taxes of about 650m in Belgium. As a whole SD still made a profit but only just.

Sevconians should be watching with dread. Every penny awarded in compensation will improve the SD balance sheet in the next financial report which in turn will affect stock prices (Big Mike owns 68%). So expect him to go for every penny that can be squeezed out of the cowardly lyin King.

Well with a €650 mill tax demand from the Belgians after already losing £150 mill in the Debenham scenario along wit trying to make HoF a HARRODS on every High St watch this space for Sports Direct vanishing

Their Director of Finanance is going in September and very few businesses can withstand such losses

I was in Frasers in Glasgow looking for cerrain items only to be told by staff that they were having difficulty obtaining stock from suppliers The stock was available only HoF was having difficulty getting it

As for Sports Direct late publication of accounts Although not unheard of still doesn't auger well for the Company

If a Company gets too big too soon 1 of 2 things happen Someone buys you or you go bust

I don't think SD are in any imminent danger of failing to see out their retail agreement with Sevco. Sevco are a different matter; they might not see out the year. A financially wounded Ashley is a harbinger of doom for Sevco.
