Headphones...how can you improve on perfection?

Bought these Sony phones a couple of years ago cost around £240 and as I listen to lots of music I wanted a really good set,in all honesty the sound quality hasn't changed a bit even though they've upgraded them.
Does anyone else feel the need for decent sounds cos I've heard from various reports that the Marshall phones are incredibly good.
Bluetooth limits the true spectrum of sound apparently, but im guessing they're better than my 30 quid Sony's. Still, they do for me on the bus.

When was the last time you had your hearing tested?, listening through headphones in NOT RECOMMENDED by any audiologists specialist, the speaker in close proximity to your ear drum and the tendency to turn it up loud causes permanent and irreversible damage, better investing in a pair of good quality speakers Bose or similar 🤷‍♂️

Tbh,I had my hearing test last week.
Had a pair of the original Acoustic Research speakers for years but my neighbours didn't appreciate them or the volume levels.🤣

If you want true HIFI, it has to be vinyl. Digital music, especially streaming services like spotify narrow the bandwidth.

I have headphones on at least 12 hours per days listening to audiobooks or watching youtube etc...creating wee tunes on my DAW

I dont have them up that loud but the walls in my flat are paper thin and the neighbours are loud.

I used to buy 100 quid audio technica full over ear headphones but last time i just bought the inferior 40 quid version coz my budget sucks ass. Cheaper ones seem to have lasted longer and tbh I cant tell difference. the quality is quite good in both to my hearing.

Ask the manufacturer to stop that screeching sound every time I lift my arm...

FLAC - Full lossless audio codec
If you are into live music then check out a website called Sugarmegs.org
It's has around 100,000 gigs from bands, mainly rock.
If you have a computer then use WMA,Windows Media Audio and if it’s Android then use MP3.
A wee tip, always use the search page on the left hand side, don't use the new releases as I often have trouble getting them to work.

Thanks TSRTS - I went and downloaded another 20 odd bootlegs last night. I've never heard of this site before. Cheers! 👍
