Starting to wonder if the directors Bonus structure has some self serving benefit or financial reward of having a float of say 20-30 million or so in cash.
Maybe part of the bonus structure is paid out on there being a cash in hand level criteria, if so then it would be a conflict of interest.

But that would at least make some sense as to why a self acclaimed now selling club, for the past several seasons has sold big money players and often as not replaced them with last minute loans!
Loans make zero sense for the player development business model, so something does not add up
