Says on Scotsman site that we are having a look at Liam Burt, previously released from Rangers. Any views on this guy?

If they let him go then it certainly doesn’t get the adrenaline going. If we take him on hopefully he plays better for the team he supports and I wish him well if he is signed. Won’t be throwing a party mind, but you never know. I don’t have a problem with projects if some of them work. The problem with the now deselected saint formerly known as Rogers, was not one of his did. Not a singular one.

Canny be hard to beat that astoundingly bad stat.

Burt played youth football for Celtic before being released and subsequently joining the Rangers Academy.[1] He made his professional debut for the club aged seventeen during a Scottish Championship match against Raith Rovers on 1 March 2016.[2] A few days later, Burt signed a new two-year contract extension keeping him at Ibrox until May 2018.[3]
He made his first appearance of the 2016–17 season, and his first Scottish top-flight appearance, as an injury time substitute on 10 December 2016 in a 2–0 home win against Heart of Midlothian.[4] In January 2017, he was named as one of the Daily Record's and The Herald's Scottish football prospects for 2017.[5][6]
Burt joined Scottish Championship side Dumbarton on a 28-day emergency loan in February 2018.[7] He extended the deal in March 2018,[8] scoring his first goal in senior football for the club in a 5-2 defeat to Falkirk.[9] Burt was loaned to Championship club Alloa Athletic in August 2018.[10]
On 17 May 2019, it was announced that Burt would be released[11] by Rangers.
