Looking good

Since the 1-2 reverse at CP that seen us end the year on a low and sent the SMSM into a totally insane overdrive even by their own standards, we went into the winter break in turmoil, meltdown and had lost the title already (according to them). On top of that we were coming back from Dubai with only 1 home fixture in our next 5 league games and the YouTube CSC had thrown in the towel , naysayers at every turn. Since our return however and having played 4 of 5 fixtures away from paradise ,the scoreline currently stands at Celtic 17 v 2 Opposition. Instead of the rangers going top ,as they were supposed to, we are looking really good sitting top of the table 7pts clear and 12 goals better a goal difference so you could say 8pts clear. You could but we won't , that's what the rangers do and they do it so well that they've forgotten to return. They thought they'd done it, thought they'd stopped us. We now have another run of 5 league games before we go to the theatre of hatred on March 15. These 5 games alternate home and away consecutively until that match. Since the start of the year we have been the ones in overdrive, of the right kind, positivity, playing with 2 strikers ,2 hungry strikers and firing on all cylinders that even the SMSM have been caught napping in our wake, in stark contrast to the end of the year where we looked a team leggy and weary and in need of some vitamin D. It's worked a treat , the performance against Motherwell on Wednesday night quite breathtaking at times a Celtic side rejuvenated and far ,far from the side who had apparently lost our title on the back of 1 defeat. We look strong and slick , creative with blistering pace and a strength in depth weve not had for some time. Showing champion mentality and the winning nous that only we in this country have, but it's still a good distance to the winning line, we dont do 'thought we had' Our focus and spirit has been impressively welcome ,any who doubted the determination in this Celtic side have definitely been shown something they weren't expecting. It really was a total joy to watch that display against a very decent 3rd placed Motherwell side who ,as they always do , really had a go at us, our quality and standard of play was outstanding at times and overwhelmed them in the end as their manager said afterwards. This is a special Celtic side versus the whole country it feels like at times. We're not there yet and were taking nothing for granted, stay focused stay together and with performance levels like that this side will become the stuff of legend in the not too distant future. We're not there yet but we're really looking good COYBIG HH ☘☘☘☘☘☘☘☘☘

I think (&I hope I'm right) they are faltering now and their squads buckling with the demands placed upon it. They simply dont have the cover we do to still be fighting on 3 fronts and that's a huge advantage for us. Whilst we want the treble again it's not as important as the title but its everything to them the cup (Gerrard too hasn't hit any domestic target bar catching Aberdeen)and finishes before the season ends this year (euros 2020 i think ) Defoe injury expect more of them, morelos ban expect more off them has already cost them. Hagi scored on his debut I read, but the squad differences are huge and will play a big role in the run in I like you think they'll drop more points and expect us to be into a double figures lead come the season's end HH

Maybe playing the 3-5-2 encourages the opposition to have a go rather than park the bus but we need to be more settled and alert at the back. Some day one team won't squander the chances we've given away recently so the men at the back have to be as good as the mid and front men.

Perhaps El Hamed can bring just that shammy when he returns he was in great form before his injury

Always been a fan of 2 up top, especially when it’s domestic games. From middle to top some of the football has been fantastic since the break. Defence has been a bit of a worry. Let’s hope it’s just the squad adapting to a new style. Though in Scotland I’d always fancy us to outscore the opposition. Play 2 upfront against that mob at Ibrox and we’ll destroy them. Their defence will crumble.👍
