I seem to remember that the newco had to agree to pay the deidco's "footballing debts" as part of them being allowed to break the SFA/SFL own rules about having 3 years worth of audited accounts before admittance (the oldco couldn't even manage this). Then when Hearts went into administration sevco pounced and offered their administrators a fraction of this debt which they gratefully accepted.

The facepainter and the rest still got feck all from them - all of Green's money was swallowed up by Duff & Phelps I believe.
