Ronny Deila leads NYCFC on in MLS playoffs

Ronny Deila has been doing a pretty good job in coaching New York City FC in the MLS this season. Though they finished fourth in the Eastern Conference, their playoff opponent, New England Revolution, ran away with first in the regular season standings, leading by 19 points at the end of the season. And while I don't really follow NYCFC -- of the two New York teams I prefer following Red Bulls for the ex-Celts (Klimala, Gutman and Cameron Harper) -- I am glad to see them beat New England and to see Ronny advance to the Eastern Conference finals against Philadelphia.

New York City FC advances to the MLS Finals against Portland (Western Conference Champions) by beating Philadelphia Union 2-1. NYCFC are the Eastern Conference Champions. Ronny is doing a bang-up job in New York.
