without numbers it is PR spin - its basically a statement of nothing - give me the numbers and I will give an honest opinion - I dont look at things through green eyed specs just yet.

No it seems you look at things through lenses coloured by cynicism, suspicion and distrust and because of that you automatically deem it PR spin without having the first clue of what the numbers actually are! It's not 'basically a statement of nothing' it's a statement of intent and just because you haven't been given the numbers and percentages now it doesn't mean that those won't follow in due course.

Just a thought but why not reserve judgement until you've seen the actual detail?

How do you get round a conflict of interest on a board that has members of the clubs that you are supposed to oversee??? You must always have some conflict of interest in that type of setup surely????
