And just think winter....when eddy goes, which I have no doubt he will (lawwell always has a fall back option to secure his bonus) we will be stuck with what we have to try and go on to win the 10. With a manager that has no confidence in setting them up to win.

We’ve got 2 players in the squad who are midfielders but for the last few years have been playing in defence. Ajer and Bitton. That saved the board from buying anyone. I haven’t like the look of this team all preseason. Most of the players are playing out of position.

That is at least 90 million pounds lost from champions league participation over the last 3 years. Ever since Lawell arrived at the helm of the financial side we have progressively got worse. A man who earned over £3million in salary but refused to pay his that for John mcginn.
Though the blame can't just lie there, it has to be placed on all aspects of the club from scouting to management and beyond.
For every dembele that we find there is at least 3 that don't work out. All we hear from lawell and the board is how we are a champions leagie team but wd can't even get there.... The question is are we as fans happy for this to carry on and the club to fleece us year in year out?

We will certainly sell at least one of them, if not more. Over a week ago I had thought we might have bought in Duffy, Hickey and Turnbull by now but we are still fannying about squabbling over small change while we miss out on the Champions League £millions yet sgain! All while we are one of the very few teams to make large profits year on year.

Never mind, sell another star llayer and don't spend sell on clauses for former players we sold cheaply to make sure we make an operating profit so our CEO bags himself another huge bonus!
