IMO Lennon should walk away as a legend and we bring in someone with a long-term plan who gets 5 months headstart where results won't be quite so important, and 2 transfer windows.

Hi BB, it's not so much that I'm bamboozled, more disappointed. During the summer window I watched along with the rest of us and was quite pleased with the areas of the team targeted for strengthening. Turnbull was the only one I can say I knew anything about though. Duffy, Ajeti, Laxalt, Barkas. Add Klimala to the list signed a year ago for a reported 2+ million and you see where I'm coming from. Thankfully Soro is beginning to look the part. The rest of them? Also to allow Graig Gordon to leave before we had done a deal for FF is criminal. I know he wasn't everyone's favourite, but big Fraser apart, he was the best we had. We also have three players out on loan we paid serious money for. Given the fact that we know we will lose some of our better players fairly soon, the lack of ambition and forward planning is really the only thing which bamboozles me. If we witness the same lack of ambition going forward I can only see a lengthy period of mediocrity ahead.

This again is a failing of lenny MD imo.
In the 1st half we closed down so quick they were forced to go long which was fairly comfortable for our CB in the 2nd we sat back more so letting them pick there passes far easier.
Also bringing on haggis would have occupied lax more with them switching to a 442 allowing more space for EL fatty donkey to exploit Bitton lack of pace.
Lennys game management has always been questionable and the 2nd half yet again proved that.

Laxalt has his issues, mainly final ball, sometimes defensive position, but the cluster fuck was all Bitton's, just hassle the mutant and let Ajer come across and deal with him but don't fucking rugby tackle him, Madden spunked himself seeing that.

That was one of the reasons we were being so successful was our full backs winning the battle on the wings. We lost the ball and they broke on us with the LB upfield. Bitton should have just harried Morelos and make him bottle his chance as usual, but he fecked it up. I still don't believe it warranted a straight red but Madden wasn't going to miss that opportunity that Bitton's brainfart gifted to him.
