After much thought lasting almost 2secs ( shut it) I decided to post this in the Celtic thread. .

Anyhoo its being reported that Maeda has pulled out of the Japanese squad due to injury concerns, leaving I think only Hatate from the bhoys, also Tom going away with Australia, Matt with Denmark and excuse my ignorance with the Scotland squad is the Masked man the only Celtic player?.
Now I thought I read somewhere about CCV being called into the American squad but , if I've missed anyone then please add them here.

Now as usual the international break comes as we start to play abit again and is about as welcome as Hector is at ipox.

But as always I wish all our bhoys the best of luck in their endeavours and hope that they return injury free.

Our focus , our main focus has always been to retake our title after the * covid title last season. My only concern is that on return our players are healthy and fit and continue the superb form that we have had.
This is not as we all know the first nor second interruption to our blistering play.
It will affect them also but they're not playing well enough to win the title imo.
I'd love nothing more than an ibrokes victory but in this season a draw would suffice and I'd fancy us to thump them again at CP and hampden the trebles definitely on but I cannot lose sight of the title frankly it is the be all and end all .
That wont stop us from trying to win all 3 again. As ange said " any new manager of Celtic regardless of what he has inherited will be aiming for all 3.
The difference with Ange is that hes clearly building a squad for Europe Godspeeed on that Ange HH

I'm getting round to Ange the psychologists way of thinking re. international breaks

They could get injured at our training/it's good for them getting different people/places/faces

plus i'd support Scotland if they were playing any sport (except that wee mutant hun who appeared in the darts a while back)

Until I see some confirmation, I'm not buying this. You can't be injured and still fly around the pitch for 90+ minutes -- going as fast at 90 as you were at kickoff -- if you're injured. I'm thinking the JFA is just using it as an excuse to excuse Maeda, which is great for us.

Hi Larry, Apparently he is sighting fatigue due to the fact he played all last season in Japan then joined up with the hoops without a break and hasn't had a break now for a season and a half. Japan seems fine with it as he was only named in a 27 man squad and 3 were getting cut anyway.

Think the passion for international football has been fairly diluted with club preferences taken the main stage these days, certainly amongst the supporters mainly.
For the players themselves, its still regarded as an honour to represent your country still, and especially for the newer players getting recognised for having a decent season to date, so a welcome recognition for them and a different focus for them at a time when every game at this stage of the season carries so much pressure, is not a bad thing either imo.
Of course injuries remains a bigger focus upon us than the results of these matches still.
Agree with Ange upon having a different outlook and environment for the next week or so and believe it will work to our advantage for the run in for the season.
The majority of the scum on the other hand can stew in there own shite for the next couple of weeks and reflect upon just how piss poor they still remain and without any signs of a good team spirit amongst the arseholes still

That's impossible with qualifying games for tournaments 26.
They remain a pain in the hole imo, and especially for countries that haven't got a realistic chance of ever winning the tournament

Don't talk to me about 'realistic' in the era of the continuation myth when I live in a place where there's a team that gets to compete as a 'nation' which doesn't exist.
