Killie v Celtic cup semi.

Was pretty much in line with that incident yesterday, the hand ball should have been awarded imho and the fans in the stadium told why the goal was disallowed.... But nothing just a notice that offside was the decision.
The lack of information to the fans in the stadium is ridiculous but I'm certain this is a directive from the IFAB.

As for Hatate's goal, the sevco supporting ref from Kilmarnock spent 2-3 minutes scouring for any possible reason to disallow it. Once he found a reason then he stopped looking rather than continuing his job and checking the contact by the Killie player. If he had done this as he was supposed to have then he would have seen it clearly came off of his lower arm/hand.

IMO the correct VAR decision (assuming the Killie defender's moving arm was not to intentionally play the ball in the direction of Hatate - if he did then Reo is NOT offside) would be to disallow the goal but award a handball penalty to Celtic as that happened BEFORE Hatate became actively offside.

Or play advantage and allow the goal, either way, its a goal.

There was a few times at corners where Celtic could have been given penalties for the manhandling of CCV the first at Maedas goal as has been shown in here but there was another when Collum gave a foul on their keeper while CCV was pulled to to the ground

Commentators said it came of his hip
It is a shame the commentators were completely wrong though as replays clearly show he handled the ball instead.

Speaking about tv coverage, I see Viaplay are following the BBC lead and not bothering with a balanced line up today. McCoist, Alan Braindead Hutton, neutral Michael Stewart and staunch Ulsterman Craigam - zero representation by anyone with an allegiance to Aberdeen!

I was raging at that one. Ash Taylor grappled eith CCV and threw him to the ground where he banged into their goalie. Obviously Gollum penalised the Celtic player for a "foul on the keeper" rather than award the clear penalty to Celtic!

N Mc.commenting on the hunnies game, apparently he has just noticed how bad the pitch is, you couldn't make it up.
Of course he didn't watch the Celtic v Killie yesterday in the same venue.🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣🙄🙄🙄
Motherwell had one of the worse pitches in the league 10 years ago, so bad I thought plastic would have been a better option. Now, as Ange said its one of the best, probably better than our million quid semi synthetic one.

What's their secret? A good groundsman? A good grass seed? We need to be told. 🤣

If there is no offside when Juranovic fires the ball into Kyogos direction and it is clear that Kyogo is not offside as he is the intended pass and breaks through the defence from in front of them when the ball is struck, then Hatate on the opposite side of the play is not interfering with play or seeking to obtain an advantage and if the ball strikes the guys hand or hip and redirects and falls to Hatate then he is onside as it last touched a Killie player. The same crap they did with Abada
same with Aberdeens goal the intended pass for their goal was to a guy in an offside position but as he never attempted to intercept the ball and seelk to interfere then the ball is in play allowing the Aberdeen goalscorer to run through and take the ball and strike for the goal.
Refs are cleary not interpretating their own rules and rules of the game.
