The last Tottenham gaffer was on 13m so 249k per week. He wont be offered that but a good chunk.

Will he take a chunk to sort out his family? Technically as a free agent will he be offered a lump sum...as a sign on.

Last bit is how long he fancies staying in the game at a high level before winding down. For him is it a now or never as part of his longer term family plan to return to Oz.

All factors that cant be taken lightly.

I'll be there the morra to cheer him and the team on. Got myself a face value ticket! Couldnt belive it.

ive been doing 60- 70hr weeks for the last 6months its been hell.
This ticket was a godsend as ive not been able to celebrate any of the triumphs propperly. Grabbed a late beer after or a tame effort with work the next day. Off for the weekend now noisers!!!
Sitting on my step outside my cottage flat having a beer and a cig and feeling content.
To be there tomorrow means the world to me, to have that chance im truly grateful.

There's a big difference in comparing managing celtic and being a joiner working for the council. Of course most joiners would take the extra dough and jump ship. How many joiners on 40 grand a week and being idolisd by millions the world over would bother their hole moving on for an few extra quid? He won't be moving for the money. The only lure here is the Premier league. The question is, will he abandon all he has built so far and all he wants to achieve? I don't think so. If I was him I would say fuck all even though I was going nowhere. I would just let the fuckin media stew in there own juices.

I still Don’t think he’s going anywhere, he WILL go down to London and talk to them, ange is no mug, he’s on the standard 1 year rolling contract that we have been giving managers, he wants job security and a better wage, he’s playing poker and keeping his cards close to his chest, he’s building something here, he’s been watching British football awhile now, he KNOWS the spurs job is a poison chalice, with a meddling chairman and your best striker, Kane wanting away this summer to Man U and a fan campaign to keep him out

One thing ange is Not is dumb…..and you’d have to be dumb or desperate to take the job 🤷‍♂️

He could be playing a blinder here. Trying to get a promise of higher investment in the playing staff, with the added benefit of an improved and longer contract from Celtic. He might be playing poker against the experts, Lawwell and Dermott, but they all know that he holds the aces.

Why wouldn't he at least speak to Spurs IF they want to? He has responsibilities to his family so be professional and see what they have to offer. That is very very different to definitely wanting to leave us. If he hadn't chatted to Celtic then he would never have taken that massive gamble to leave a successful career in Japan.

Personally I think it would not be a great move for him but it is nothing to do with me.

Anyway, back to the Cup Final. Mon the Hoops.
 
So far the only manager mentioned has been Ange yet there are 3 others on thier list wonder why? However today is about the Cup Final in which Celtic will make history with another record, yes Cup matches are well known banana skins with the under dogs getting a goal and like a mother hen sit on it with all the defence they can muster but honestly I can’t see that happening today they could break another record with the amount of goals they could potentially score, don’t care if it’s 3nil or 10 Glasgow will be Green and White once again come on the Hoops
