By accusing Brown under the highly dubious charge of acting against ''...the best interests of Association Football '' the SFA has unwittingly opened a can of worms that could shine a light on their incompetence/corruption ( ? ) for the whole world to see .

As others have said above , any competent lawyer will be rubbing their hands at the chance to turn this accusation against the SFA who are in no position to defend this charge when one looks at the LONG list of offences that they will have to defend on this very issue , some of the most egregious being :

failure to ensure that a member club was abiding by their own rules when submitting fraudulent financial figures in respect of a license for participating in European football ;

failure to uphold their own rules by allowing a team with no history to leapfrog other more suitable candidates for entry to the league in 2012 and entering into a ''secret'' agreement with said club to allow them to falsely claim title to the honours won by another entity ;

failure to act when given evidence of a club's withholding of contractual documentation which breached their own rules ;

confirming a recipient of a proven tax avoidance scheme as President of their own association ;


allowing said President to remain in office having lied to an inquiry into said tax avoidance schemes and their impact on fair play ;

employing another proven tax avoiding cheat as National Team Coach .

If Broony isn't defended vigorously by the people who employ him for doing absolutely nothing wrong,......then this tells him and us everything we need to know about Celtic.....AND our club.

Football IS a sport and is meant to be a sport played in a sporting arena, where the competitors enjoy it, have fun, shake hands and laugh while playing this sport.

Broony had a laugh, enjoyed the game and shook hands at the end.......

He is criticised and lambasted for being too serious, physical and unhappy......and he is criticised for being happy, non-physical and pleasant.

Scott Bain has said it very clear, Callum McGregor has said it clear, Sutton, Hartson, you, me........and that Broony was an example of a man playing and enjoying the sport he is paid to do and entertain everyone.
