SANDMAN'S DEFINITIVE RATINGS: CELTIC v SHEPHERDLESS FLOCKERS

Got to agree with you, Miktim. There was a vulnerability across the back line. I think we were very poor without the ball in general. Out muscled in midfield too. I really don't want to get into a debate on individual players, but regardless of how the season pans out, It's a discussion we will...

    ORIGINAL+EVEN MORE OFFICIAL: Cup Semi v Sheepies, Sat 20-Apr-24 @ 12:30. MIB=D Robertson, VAR=G Aitken

Jeezo.... where do I start? First off, well done to the Dons for making a game of it; they absolutely did their homework and exploited our only too obvious weakness down our left flank. 'Just get the ba' tae the back post, guys.... they just cannae defend it' !... Well, I'm guessing that would...

    ORIGINAL+EVEN MORE OFFICIAL: Cup Semi v Sheepies, Sat 20-Apr-24 @ 12:30. MIB=D Robertson, VAR=G Aitken

Another massive game. As always, I'm looking forward to it, and as usual, I think we'll win. It would be good to see continued improvement in our form given the enormity of our remaining fixtures. We find ourselves in a good place again, but it's still all to play for.

A Wee bit of Music Nostalgia ..Post it here

Hopefully a wee bit premature, lennono, but that's one of my funeral tunes. Second one is Fairport Convention/ Sandy Denny, Who Knows Where The Time Goes? A toss up for third place, ( gonna be a long gig ) A time to say goodbye; Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman; Reflections Of My Life...

Hate crimes and the Rangers supporting policeman at Ibrox on Sunday

My goodness, Winter; you ask " who even pays attention to billboards anyway"..and then kind of answer your own question. Obviously you do ! I respect you too much to get into a daft argument, Winter. I think we'd find ourselves in a cul-de-sac. But I've got to say, I've no problem with anybody...

    Penalty lottery time.

Disappearing again for a few days, folks. Keep up the banter so I have something to keep the dark clouds at bay. I'll probably struggle to contribute much . Treasure your loved ones. And may your God go with you. A wee spring in my step......

Hate crimes and the Rangers supporting policeman at Ibrox on Sunday

I can assure you, Lubo; you won't be labelled intolerant by me. As for extremism? It's the enemy of reason; regardless of where it comes from. A destructive cancer with the potential to destroy everything fair and just.

I agree with you, Lubo: I've no time for intolerance no matter where it comes from. I'm not sure if your inference is that intolerance is the sole preserve of the left, ( of which I'm happy to say I am ). But seriously?

As say, Richybhoy. Power Devolved is Power Retained. It most definitely can also be something of a poisoned chalice.

I normally find much common ground with your comments, Winter; but if you're telling me it's wrong to highlight the need for tolerance, ( educate ) then, I definitely can't agree with you. As for prioritising our spending? Yes, that's fair comment. Thing is, though, it opens up the debate as to...

    Penalty lottery time.

And so the pendulum swings. I know you good folk are gonna get pissed off with this boring, cautious auld git. Just let's keep ourselves focused on the task in hand. The prize is ours.....if we go about our own business in the right manner. Nothing changes for me; we, of course, have a shade of...

Hate crimes and the Rangers supporting policeman at Ibrox on Sunday

Hands up if you think the world would be a better place if we could all ditch our prejudice ( s ) ? Hands up if you think it would be better if we were /fairer/more understanding of the fact that people have the right to make choices; have the right to make decisions regarding things personal to...

Celtic v St Mirren, Saturday 13 April, 3pm - COYBIG!

Just home to the country estate. I suppose it would be true to say all's well that ends well; in truth though, I'm not goin' to get too bothered about the first half display. I honestly felt we would be more than comfortable come the second half. So it proved. Conditions were very difficult. It...
