1 off qualifier (NV) for the Champions league?

It would be by far a more fair way of qualifying and get rid of this nonsensical 1/4 of a domestic season just to get to the group stages. Will it happen? Hopefully , and for a season or two at least it makes sense, but the champions route should be maintained, what's the point in drawing Celtic against Atletico Madrid (unless were looking to do them) heres hoping common sense prevails although it's hardly something associated with UEFA.

Exclusive: Reaction as Celtic could be 90 minutes from huge windfall via @Onefootball. Read it here:

As a short term solution it would be immense, as long as games weren't behind closed doors. Electric atmosphere so important to us in these type of games. I doubt the virus will be suppressed sufficiently by then so probably no fans. But if that's UEFAs plan then we will obviously go with it

Champions should go into the groups and all the runners up and hangers on from inflated leagues should go into the 4 qualifiers

The fact Uefa get away with calling it the champions league is a scandel ,it's rigged for the top 5 leagues to fit as many teams into the competiton just because of TV audiences and MONEY

They should go back to the way it use to be years ago, if u won ur league you were straight into the group stages..
A return to the real champions cup/league would be superb if unlikely. All champions qualify for a ko format with perhaps group sections for the last 16. It would mix things up if all clubs started at the same stage, no runners up at all, I wouldn't argue against cl holders and Europa league holders getting in as they are at least champions. I get the feeling it will take a breakaway of the big 5 leagues to make it closed shop before fan power puts an end to boring repeats by tuning out of subscriptions. We can hope HH
