Breakaway European 'Super League'!

Let them. Kick them out their domestic leagues and UEFA competitions and ban their players from international football. Let them have their reality TV programmes for Asia and the USA, football fans will soon become sick of a closed shop who’s only interest is money and not the game itself.

its already a closed shop through money,
same teams in last 16 year on year give or take 1 or 2
seems they'd rather play each other all season
it will bore everyone to tears after a year or two

but me thinks its them trying to force something else out of the current arguments on reshaping the champions league

England - Man City, Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham.

Spain - Barca, Real, Atletico.

Italy - Juve, Inter, AC.

All above have declared but no clubs from either Germany or France are part of the group.

The greedy fuckers who've declared should be cut loose and banned from European football immediately, see how long it takes for the shine to wear off their 12 team 'Super' league with no relegation or promotion and just the same shit every season!

Still believe it could happen if the bottom team is relegated and replaced by the CL winners.
Still more will come on board as money always speaks in the end imo

Should it happen, I bet the EPL will want us fairly pronto then !

And therein lies the utter arrogance of the whole thing mate....the possibility that the European Cup Winners might get a wee invite and be 'promoted' to a league containing clubs who are so elite and so good at football that they currently sit in 3rd, 4th, 7th and 9th place in their domestic leagues! 🤷‍♂️

If UEFA is disagreeing with it, I don't think the bottom team could be relegated and replaced with the CL winners... if the bottom team got 'relegated,, it may find itself banned from playing in any other competition.

Everyone is just testing the water and I would say fifa and Uefa are still in the thick of any negotiations

When they use the term elite nowadays shadow you are looking at marketing and financial clout.
Most of these break away clubs are running scared especially the English ones. West ham, Leicester, Everton and villa to a degree have given these big boy's some bloody noses this season and 4 of these top 6 may not even make CL next season which would be very costly to them.
Even ourselves as a club would have huge potential as we have outgrown Scotland years ago and many other clubs within Europe are in the same position with PSG as the best examples among others.
Will it effect attendances at matches? Not at all.
This is all geared up for the new generation of supporters coming through and believe it will happen and the so called elite in England will want it sooner rather than later with how shit scared they are becoming on the financial front
