Calm focus.

Well I hope we have all calmed down after the pure joy of seeing another chance of silverware "slip" through sevco's filthy grasp. There has been much talk of the triple treble being as good as completed. However we need to remain focused. Firstly, Aberdeen are on a good run of away form as shown by their recent result at Parkhead. They are quite happy for the game to be a war of attrition and will enjoy the kicking, pulling and general mayhem that goes with that type of game in the hope that they can get the one break that can win them the game. Secondly, do not forget our "friends" the MIB, they are still in the mix and we know how well they will be rewarded in the lodges and feted in the hun pubs if they can end our trophy winning run. The league is sevco's last chance and though we have a healthy lead we need to focus on killing off any hope they have left with a resounding victory at the end of the month. I for one cannot wait but we need to stay calm, remain focused and good things will come. COYBIG!

Aberdeen are very dangerous.
1 match at time.
concentrate
BE confident
Dont be lax
And score more goals than the opposition in every game.

Aberdeen for me are a much more dangerous tie than Sevco.

But it is always nice to see them in meltdown, as much as that seems to be their after christmas pressure position since they been a tribute team for the old tax dodgers.

Yes L, agree entirely, let’s concentrate fully for next game , one at a time as they say, the tribute act will drop other points!!!!!but we have to keep doing what we do best ,win, do feel we could do with 10 point gap to rub their noses in it .hh

We'll have to play better against them than we did at the weekend if we want to beat them in the semi.
They're a team that keep their shape which is often in big bus form and we need to know how to break them down without leaving ourselves open at the back the way sevco did. They would be happy to take it to ET and penalties.
Hope Lenny inspires the bhoys and that some of the injured, creative players are on the road back.

The thing i noticed last night is (superhun) Kent is one dimensional he runs up the line, cuts in and then runs a straight line across the defence threating to shoot, but he never does if you stand in a line he just runs, eventually into trouble. He is a duracell reject.

That has to be the difference Celtic will take the ball to the line, and if they come inside they will pass their way in. 1 touch football, this is what will catch Aberdeens straight line offside formation, its schoolboy stuff, Moreloss falls for it constantly, he goes early for long ball shite.

Burke can give you less than a metre if the ball is passed through he will be onto it with his pace beating the trap, Christie, Forrest and McGregor form partnerships when playing the one touch stuff in tight situations, thats the difference with better teams. Thats how Rogic can paly through straight line defending, quick feet, saw nothing from the Dons last night except a great result and TBF the elements suited them more, high punt in atrocious conditions.

Dundee on Sunday.

WIN, at all costs; scrappy, turgid, any WIN is an absolute necessity.

Go into the international break at least 8 clear of the Huns who get two weeks to stew on it before we meet them first game back on the 31st to go 11 clear and all but kill off any desperate measures they or the MIBs can pull.

Give them no hope, Celtic.

Dundee away, St.Patrick's Day - most important game of the season.

That was Aberdeen without their top goalscorer last night..
They have a goalscorer, that must be 20 million for next season sorted.

And if the Dons continue to win the pressure is right on as they the would sit only 5 behind and the same with Killie who could be 6, second place up for grabs, HH

You are right to sound a note of caution. However our team has been here before and knows what it takes to get over the finish line. The return of the injured to the first team squad will be a massive boost. There is a lot of talent on the treatment table. Iam quietly confident of nine trophies in a row.
