Celtic’s Coronavirus Cuts

Yip. We have nothing to hide so lets show leadership by being upfront and honest even although it will not be good news. There will be no good news from any Scottish club so we will not be harming the brand. In the long term we may well reap the benefits of being seen to be honest and open.
Celtic player will be financially still well off and the cuts when they come will allow them to be retained and rewarded by being part of a club that will have finances to back them from Sponsorship and the exploitation of commercialism in the clubs quest for ten in a row.
It makes sense for wealthy players to ride it out by cutting their cloth financially for the short period and to secure themselves a long term future.

Be nieve if you didn't think this is under consideration. To be honest Hertz are being more transparent about this than most clubs.
Yes Celtic have huge cash deposits in the bank, but the reality is no one knows how long this is going to last and every business must act accordingly. Maybe a deferred payment scheme will Introduced that benefits everyone concerned because these are unprecedented times. Whatever the outcome every club is going to hugely impacted by this no exceptions.senseable solutions are the way forward for the foreseeable.

Footballers aren't regarded as the smartest cookies, but I don't think they're oblivious to the hardship everyone is facing at the moment.

Our boys also seem to be relatively well-balanced and intelligent enough to realise that a financial hit now, likely safeguards their future.

It's not the players fault, but there are folk who are currently 'no play, no pay' across the whole of industry........I'm sure they know the score.
