What is going on inside our club? Brother Walfrid must be spinning in his grave. Gambling now seems to be the norm with Celtic cash raising. Gambling causes lives, divorce, domestic violence. Can't the board see all this or are they thinking of more cash in the coffers. Celtic was not founded to make money from gambling sites. Whatever happened to the ethos of charity begins at home. Instead we get gambling sponsorship, I for one am ashamed of our board. They never ever seem to do right by the Celtic family. May God forgive them for this, because I can't. HH

Don't see any problem with it, same as the years n years of alcohol sponsorship . Take personal responsibility for your own actions coz I'm pretty sure being sponsored by brewries didn't make me drink any more or any less so ain't gonna be gambling more or less than I already do.

Interesting point, Maestro, but I think it misses the mark. Being inundated with Carling or Magners or whatever alcoholic beverage or advertising and the jerseys -- or even inundated with Dafabet or 32Red on jerseys and ads in the stadiums -- is different than having to essentially "gamble" in order to secure tickets to the Killie match, which I think is part of the promotion here, at least according to the petition, which says this:

"In April 2019, Celtic went beyond the shirt sponsor, stadium flag, pitch advertising, and in-house betting booths and offered a chance of tickets to the possible title-clinching match against Kilmarnock IF FANS DEPOSITED 20 POUNDS WITH ONLINE CASINO MR GREEN." (Emphasis mine)."

So I'm calling "apples and oranges" here, and overall a bad idea. Hail Hail.
