Everyone has their own favourite top of our club. My favourite is this white Nike top that was given to me by my late uncle roughly 7 years ago. Unfortunately for me (so far) I've been unable to identify this top , from which season it comes. Granted I haven't dug very deeply trying to find it but couldn't. I posted the top onto youtube and someone suggested that it was perhaps a training top. In our recent cup tie away to clyde the SMSM were delighted to remind us all of the calamitous events that happened there on Roy Keane's debut, I noticed that Keane was wearing the closest I've come to seeing this top except it was green but practically identical in design and made by Nike, also I didnt think that a training top would actually have the Carling sponsorship on it. Can anyone identify this top? Its bugged me for a while and if it cant be identified here then I'd have to go with training top but something tells me not. Help would be most gratefully welcomed. Also I've never seen a top thread and would like to see some pics of everyone else's favourite tops if possible.

Damn Google and Yahoo and tinternet , just when you think theres nothing it cant tell you, it fails you. Over reliant upon them. I'm more positive it is a training top but still cant find it and I've just viewed many many Celtic tops. Im thinking because of the Nike and Carling logos 2005 still cant find it though. Makes it even more precious (the precious, my precious) 😆😎

I've never considered that, it's a silver colour looks more grey in the pic, though I dont see the merits in an actual strip top for playing golf , they are into their own (quite questionable at times lol) fashion. I'll have a look though 👍

should be a date on the label sometimes inside the collar label , looks more like training/casual top have you checked celtic wiki
 
I found a wee book that has every Celtic strip 1888-2009.
I will try to take better photos than the one below.
The 2nd strip fae 1991-92 sponsored by People's (red logo) is nuts. I have never saw it.

Had many strips Richy this one was hated by our supporter's because of the red white and baloo like this strip and alot of Celtic strips given to charities.

I forgot to add see how the huns liked to call themselves the people well we're they fuck because it was official and we've been the people since The big man Jock Stein and jesus walked the earth.
