Couple of weeks to the start of the champions league (the excitement maybe has not been the same the last decade but let's just enjoy it) we have got a hard group not as easy as some might think (heard feyenoord have spent 60 million this year for example) anyway hopefully we can get some luck and even finish 3rd 6 points should do the trick ...not won a group game at home since 2013 but that will change this year hopefully

3rd place and drop into the Europa League should be our target and its achievable. We should be competitive in this group. Atletico are way ahead of the other three but Feyenoord and Lazio are beatable, especially at CP.

think thats reality of disparity of tv distribution funds.

Rotterdam is a great city worked at shipyard for 6 month (lot of the guys respected Celtic) wim Jansen was loved by some but a good few not so much because he joined Ajax..... feyenoord have a great atmosphere too and that would be my pick of any of the away days (hopefully we get some points away from home)

Galatasaray qualify for the CL. Celtic are 3pts above them in the 10 year rankings used to set the coefficient payment we get – that’s worth €1.137M to us. What puts us above them? The 4 bonus points we get for winning the European Cup. The Lisbon Lions. Still contributing.

Just read this on Etims from Thursday. Every penny of that €1.137m should be divided up and given to the surviving lions. Guys that, if playing today, would be getting offered Saudi dollars to leave Glasgow. Let's start a campaign
