Fergus McCanns seat that was in the main stand in up for grabs
Glasgow auctioneers McTear's, who will sell the seat later this month in aid of the Beatson Cancer Charity, said it was "one of the most unusual pieces of Celtic memorabilia ever to come to auction".
The "sumptuous directors’ box chair" is upholstered in deep green button back vinyl, with a hinged seat and plaques to the underside inscribed "FERGUS McCANN" and numbered "13".
It will feature in McTear’s Scottish Greats sporting auction on July 22, with experts estimating the unique lot could fetch between £1000 and £2000.
McTear’s will be waiving all vendor fees, with the full hammer price and buyer’s premium going directly to Beatson Cancer Charity.

Surely this is the sort of unique memorabilia the club should be keeping for the museum. They could easily donate a few £Ks to the charity.

Its being sold, for the 2nd time, to raise money for a cancer charity, so its for a good cause.
