Corruption, Cheating, Boycotts and finally doing something about it

I think it's fair to say we all know that corruption is rife within the SFA an their ilk.

We know we are consistently fed a narrative that support the status quo which equates to "move along Timmy there's a seat at the back of the bus reserved just for you"

With that in mind here are a few of my thoughts.

To force change it will have to revolve around one thing in particular ...MONEY...and our collective resolve to do something about it.
For starters.

Boycott all SFA sponsors and tell them why...we will not contribute to those who sponsor and support corruption

Boycott one or perhaps 2 teams to begin with....the others will get the message pretty quick....deprive them of the green pound and they will go to the wall in short order...choose the teams who we know are historically anti Celtic first

Perhaps join or form our own organised lobby group with a dedicated mission to eradicate the corruption in the Scottish game. This site could become a focal point for this if we all are so inclined and the site allows it. Comments on this please?

Shareholders outwith the Board and their associates to get together and speak with one voice and continually put pressure on the Board whenever and wherever we see corruption occurring. This incorporates going down the fraud road to see justice done.

Just a few suggestions to begin with. I'm sure there is more can be done.

But before anything can be changed we are going to have to get organised...we will need the collective will...and an absolute commitment to force change..and the numbers to dedicate ourselves to this task...we will also require a well thought out strategy and the determination and discipline to see it through.

At present the SFA and their ilk sit back in the knowledge they can do what they like because they have always done what they like. They have the power because we allow them the power.

Money is power...power is control....for too long we have been fragmented as a Support....too many listening to the hacks and to those who have a vested interest in retaining the status quo....the time has finally come in my view to stand together under the Celtic banner and stop talking and actually do something to rid ourselves of the stench of corruption that permeates through every facet of the SFA and their acolytes.

The time for doing what's necessary is with us now...or it's going to be more of the same forever more.

Imatim , I suspect that many, many supporters on here will share your frustration at the lack of opposition to what is /has been going on in our game for as long as most of us have been watching it . That is has existed and continues to exist is a testament to the powerlessness of the ordinary supporter . We scream and shout and bang our heads against the wall - but to no avail . The dead hand of corruption holds sway .

I would love to join a boycott but what do I boycott ?
Unlike some on here I no longer attend away games ;
I am not a shareholder ( had no money to do so when Fergus offered them );
I would refuse to pay Sky/BT subscriptions - but I already do , for reasons other than those you have outlined ;
I am no organiser of demonstrations , nor do I feel competent to help create an organisation which would put pressure on our Board or the SFA/SPFL etc... but would gladly support anyone who did .

In short I am like so many on here , desperately wanting something to happen to right the wrongs but seemingly powerless to do so .
This is where I like many others who wish to see change have to rely on The Board at Celtic to fight our corner .
Sh*t ! Then we have lost , haven't we ?

I hope that there are actions that can be taken to remove this stain from our game and I would support any that I could .
One of the ways forward is to unite supporters of all clubs ( bar one , perhaps ) who share our dismay at the state of our legislators . But that , sadly , is a difficult task given the insularity of many football supporters .
Supporters without Scarves has tried to get a wider range of support to tackle these issues but I have not heard much from them recently .

Good luck with your efforts Imatim !

The SFA cheat who mentors the SFA cheats and is on the SFA panel which adjudicates on whether a matter is put before the compliance officer....brags of his cheating against Celtic and gets paid for it. Twice!

Let this sink in. This is a current SFA employee doing this....from JJ site

Excellent imatim.

Yes agree jj’s piece on the need for this meeting not be forgotten about and therefore brushed under the carpet and to go there armed with a QC specialist on employment law.

These footballers are at their place of work while on the pitch and it seems these referees are putting our players st risk. Celtic as an employer have a duty of care to their players to be protected whilst doing their job of footballer. So Celtic please stand up to this bullying and discrimination which it goes without saying will get worse as we near the 8iar and so this should be of a priority for Celtic. ?

If we are unhappy with our own board why not boycott the products of our own sponsors and tell them why?

I mean there are plenty of alternatives to MAGNERS?

The SFA and their head MIB, John Fleming are up to their knees in it.

Ralph Gordon, the assistant referee who ruled out Scott Sinclair's clearly on side goal on Saturday has been allocated the line duties for...wait for it...wait for it...the Huns game v Kilmarnock

This odious rat Fleming is at it.

On the back of choosing a Hun quartet to officiate against us and the truly unbelievable decision of RG to rule out a legitimate goal on Saturday he gets the nod.

The fix is well and truly in and they don't care who knows it.

It would appear that the more,,'Honest Mistakes' an official makes them the greater the reward

Chop off a perfectly good Celtic goal and the reward is being asked to officiate at a plum Scottish 5th round tie

You really couldn't make this shite up This would have Jerrfrey fuckin' Archer looking on in awe at the intricacies of the storyline

The whole thing stinks to the high heavens and they are being so blatant about it

A TREBLE TREBLE must Not be allowed to happen and EVERYTHING is being done to prevent it

Will be interesting to see when Wee Wully Colum is handed another HUNS match after their complaints

Long story short If these bastarts aren't capable of doing the job properly no matter who they make a wrong decision against then they should be handed their P45 and told to fuck off As an aside has anything else transpired on the John Beaton Death Threats claims?

Hmmmm I didn't think so Smoke Mirrors Deflection and FREEMASONARY all coluding to prevent 1 thing Further Celtic success

I'm hearing the threats in question were allegedly traced to a known associate of some guy who goes by the on line pseudonym Thomas the Tank.

Only thing i agree with JJ is that he is a hun who sees rich pickings among the celtic fans otherwise he would not be looking for flaws and criticising other blogs for their endevaours to pass on information. As far as his latest blog is concerned maybe he should have took in the friendly yesterday with Helensinki, the huns are in no greater shape than previous, let the games begin.
look at the fixtures mounting for the darkside mostly all away games in the leaugue and cups, i would be happy with our situation all day long.

Burke and Weah or Burke and Hare i know who my money is on.

I've always argued against bhoycotts for one simple reason. What happens if you throw a party and no-one turns up? Well, with a bhoycott, what happens if EVERYONE turns up,bar a few?

Now,that only applies when we are talking about Celtic supporters bhoycotting sponsors who are in the mainstream. McDonalds and Morrisons for instance. A 25% drop in custom by Celtic supporters won't be noticed in the great scheme of things.

A similar drop in footfall at Celtic shops and in NB merchandise will be noted, even if not admitted to.

Cap doffed for that,sir.

Noticed a point made on an other blog today regards Kenny Clarke nonsense.
Clarke on BBC
""To suggest ref would work 10 to 15 years to get to the top would cheat fans, to give his team an advantage is nonsensical."
jabbatheagnivore site

"Meanwhile, I’ve been thinking about what Kenny Clark said about referees taking fifteen years to get to the top. He didn’t specify what he means by ‘the top’, but, presumably, he means being chosen to referee top-tier matches. We can work backwards from the date of each referee’s first top-tier match to see at what age he started his career. Nick Walsh (haven’t heard of him for a while), for example, refereed his first top-tier game in 2016, which means he started out in 2001. They obviously start young in Scotland, as he was ten years old that year. A similar prodigy is Andrew Dallas, whose first top-tier match was in 2014, meaning he started out at the age of ten as well. It makes you wonder what age the up-and-comers are these days.
