Tough draw, the real Celtic will have to step up to get though this group, on the other hand, Huns got it easy
So it's your fault...Sitting with the lads watching the draw , i said i wanted to avoid Milan in pot 3 and Lille in pot 4 and low and behold lol..
Forrest might struggle to get his place back if Frimpong keeps playing wellDissapointed with the draw as on current form, we have no chance. Last night for me another missed opportunity to find players who cold make a difference and more importantly, leaving out those who wouldn't. The main thing of course is we got through. Thats the best I can summon. Another performance where we were like a damp cloth of a team. We still need a LB who can play both going forward and defending. We definitely need competition for Forrest to put a bullet up his arse and Turnbull, Soro and Luca a left back. It should be clear to Lenny, but it probably won't, that with Brown in we lose speed of counter attack. Last night I coolant believe we never brought on Griff, especially with Ajeti injured and until Griff and Eddy are leading the line we won't be as dangerous. And that goes for Ajeti being fit. The draw couldn't have been more difficult and I worry about us defensively, solar they look weak and slow in the CB. Duffy is a good stopper in the air but up against fast strikers he will struggle. Its one of those that we hope for the best yet again. Hope we get another couple of players as a first, then the Lenny accepts he needs to use the squad and not keep playing his favourites who haven't clicked. If we do that we have a chance,if we don't, we will get handed our arse. We all hoped we would build on last years great displays and of course, here we are, two days away from the widow shutting and no LB yet, haggling over a player who isn't a LB and who Lawell doesn't think is worth £800k. I wold swap the group with Sevco, as I feel they have a chance of getting out of the group, for us, its dependent upon who we bring in and most importantly, playing the talent we already have and benching those who so far have been pish. At this moment I doubt the changes we need will happen. Or a good LB or competition for Forrest. If on the other hand we do whats needed, it will still be a tall order, but it could be another Ronnie europe year with getting humped home and away. Look how we struggled with two utterly shite teams. Typical Celtic with the hope and a prayer, a cheapskate punt or two, strategy. 10iar year. If we lose Eddy all of the above is more certain and even 10 is in a situation it should never have been. Never have been, but always will with Lawell in charge.
I think we struggle with smaller teams who only defend and hope to get lucky. Hibs came to town and tried to play and we were much better. AC don't have Kaka and co these days and although they should be respected we should have no fear.Dissapointed with the draw as on current form, we have no chance. He played against Shamrock Rovers in the qualifiers so I'd assume he'd be eligible to play. Hope so anyway.Zlatan looks good but I'm not sure if he will be eligible to play dont the Americans still hold his contract?
It's difficult to tell. Milan are getting their house in order these days and had a good end to the season. Lazio were certainly better last season though. The group is very similar to last season, maybe slightly easier.
Milan not as good as Lazio
Lille not as good as Rennes
Sparta similar to Cluj
We won last season with13 points, we'll not be far off that total this time. Our squad is stronger, and slowly improving after a sluggish start (10 wins, 1 draw, 1 defeat kind of sluggish)
A good front line will run a savvy with our defence.I think we struggle with smaller teams who only defend and hope to get lucky. Hibs came to town and tried to play and we were much better. AC don't have Kaka and co these days and although they should be respected we should have no fear.

a bye to the last 16Who'd the huns get?
Yip,I believe they're not that good now. If we had drawn Rio ave you'd be saying, who the fks that, yet Milan took 120 minutes and penalties to beat them last night. I'm confident we'll do all 3 at parkhead and get out the group. Bring it on . We'll be alot better when this window shuts and the bhoys settle down. HHTbh though does anyone believe for a minute that milan are not that good anymore? They might not be hitting previous highs but when they face us they will go all out for it. We will top the table again (super confident post based upon no small amount of bias)

They may not be hitting the domestic nor European heights theyve Become accustomed to and they needed penalties to beat a decent Rio ave side in a 1 off ko tie ( I certainly wouldn't be saying Rio who but it depends upon your knowledge of the Portuguese and European leagues) . Make no mistake Milan will be right up for this as much as us. If anything we remind them of their glory days when the kod us last 16 champions league in extra time kaka etc , San siro. 2 of Europe's largest clubs this game is massive pity no supporters will see it. We know that even when they were at their best we could more than match them. This is a champions league group weve been handed and that's great for the players this standard if football. I'm confident though, we appear to have overcome our mental block away in Europe hopefully the same will be said at home. We need these games to see where we are at and 6 of them at highest standards is good news .Yip,I believe they're not that good now. Plagiarist! posted that hours ago!Happy with the draw atleast we'll be playing against teams who don't park the bus ,tough draw but sometimes they throw up the best games
as for being in pot1 ffs
Such pity all this covid shit, everyone of our home games would've been a brilliant night, fan wise. Especially AC. Now we are just hoping it goes on, never mind fans in.They may not be hitting the domestic nor European heights theyve Become accustomed to and they needed penalties to beat a decent Rio ave side in a 1 off ko tie ( I certainly wouldn't be saying Rio who but it depends upon your knowledge of the Portuguese and European leagues) .
