Get rid of artificial pitches at the top level !

Even the dinosaur McLeish has come out against plastic pitches in Scotland .

Too many players are at risk of injury on these awful ( in Scotland ) surfaces . We presently have artificial pitches at Livingston , Hamilton and ( by far the worst ) Kilmarnock .
No club should have entry to the Premier League if they do not have access to a 'proper' grass pitch . If necessary the authorities ( SFA , SPFL ) should subsidise a replacement if necessary - for the good of the game .

Totally agree. The Astroturf at lochend school in Easterhouse is better than the Livingston pitch. No grass....No Entry. It's little wonder other countries laugh at our league. People tune in to see Celtic..we only show away games on sky or BT..so fans from abroad are going to see us play on shit long grass that the SPFL won't force other teams to cut or shit plastic pitches that aren't even good enough to stick in the schemes of the East end!!!

Absolutely Lubo. They dont encourage good football and the skills that are required to be successful. Even my daughter can punt a ball clear and hope to get lucky.

What ever you age start to play football it's on Grass! Go to any non-league Ground in the country..Grass! Come to the SPL astro turf! Aye that will develop you as a player EH!
