I stopped smoking today and although day one is almost complete i can’t stop thinking about a cigarette.

I am using the patches so am expecting nightmares tonight, a well known side effect.

Has anyone else stopped and remained stopped?

If so; do you have any tips to stop thinking about cigarettes coz this has not been easy today.

Any help gratefully received.

5 year free and would never dream of starting again.
You must follow, read and watch the videos and go cold turkey or else you stay dependant and hooked to nicotine, first things you need to do is admitt to yourself you are a nicotine addict and then you will understand its your battle and below is the aids to help.

Welcome, but be aware its freaky stuff some of it.
Do all the videos, he nails every excuse a smoker has for lapsing, good luck and never take another puff will become engrained in your brain.
Hope so. Found it tough today. Would like to be free of cigarettes and never get the urge for them again.

But by fk i am still choking fir one just now.

Just gonna stick with the patches just now n i’ll watch the videos n hopefully in time the craving subsides to a more manageable level.
