its ironic trump is a protest vote
This is pretty much the stupidest take on the US elections. Ever.
Here's the choice we had yesterday in the US: A pile of shit versus a pile of plutonium. A pile of shit (Biden) is pretty unpleasant, at best, but a pile of plutonium (Trump) is unquestionably lethal. Whatever you're being fed by the mainstream media on both sides of the Atlantic doesn't really scratch the surface of what's going on here. Many of us are out on the streets constantly and either this turns out to where we start day one protesting the Biden administration or we go into revolution fighting Trump's second term.
And quite frankly, I don't mind you all lining up to shit on the US, however the so-called union in which you find yourself a part of as Scots is not exactly the paragon of flawless democracy, if Boris the Buffoon and the Tories are any indication. You may want to keep that in perspective.
Some of my brothers & sisters were born there, the eldest still lives there.
I doubt any of them would just dismiss the irony!
for sure none are arrogant & ignorant enough to even imagine they can speak for all the 328 plus million US citizens living in around the 3.5 plus Million Miles square of the USA.
States of more extremes & cultural differences between them, than many European nations would have in context to one another.
So logically your claim is ironically the more stupid.
I'm guessing your claim re out on the streets is virtual more google maps! UR gonna starta Revolution from ur bed so to speak.
Anyone who watches news online, would have been able to read or hear the self declared reasoning of many that voted for Trump!
voted for Trump bcoz of his claim that he was different, he was not part of the system & he was gonna drain d swamp, being the jingo core.
So while without further questioning t (replies to which a instant arrogant dismissal of someones opinion, inhibits at best) no one else including Lacifiero. can know the precise context the poster considered irony!
Irony is there for most anyone to see in some context!
When so many regular / workers voted for a Trump a supposed Billionaire on the basis that he understands them more!
is more like one of them!
or
simply voted for him as a 'fuk u' to the system.
Voted for a serial failed 'businessman' who was born into money who boasts of paying little or no tax & one who still owes more on paper than the assets he built with cheaper imported Chinese steel (more irony) & often exploited low pay immigrant workers!
that this Trump was going to make America & them by default great!
In there is all but a definition for
irony -
a state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what one expects and is often wryly amusing as a result.
