Big guy does seem to have a presence about him. Interesting hearing him barking orders and encouragement. Something that must have been a struggle in Japan through an interpreter.
I hope our senior players respond as I think many of them were in a comfort zone under NL.
Get rid of the wantaways and passengers Ange, let the young team know there will be opportunities for instant promotion to the 1st team if they work hard and listen to what's required. I'm thinking of Dembele here.
Oh and sort out the goalkeeper first.

He’s not an International Goalkeeper for nothing. Maybe away from home new language to learn Covid19 might have been too much for him maybe Ange can get the best from him let’s hope so

Maybe someone who can chat to Barkas in Greek and coach & encourage him will maybe help him settle down. It must have been difficult relocating to a new country and not being able to socialise with new colleagues or even meet others outside the club.Who knows Brim maybe he can get the goalie sorted you never know.

I think Ange is strong enough in his beliefs and will start everyone with a clean slate and see what he can get out of them (even if many of us fans will find that difficult to swallow at first).

This is a fantastic post BB and something that hadnt crossed my mind at all. He speaks Greek and Barkas is a decent keeper even if we havent yet seen that. Brings to mind how difficult it must've been when big gorgeous samaras first rolled up to paradise. I think with a Celtic support behind Barkas we may well get what we thought wed get of course this is all fingers crossed material but we all know how far the supporters appreciation goes for players and how much confidence they take from it. HH

Just listened to him on the news mate and the statements he made gives me a lot of hope..
We wont go into any game fearing anybody..
I hope the fans enjoy how we play at both ends..

Just have a feeling. We dominated scottish football with a proper coach. Hate him or not, brendan took his job seriously. He did what he did at celtic to better his own position in the world of football. Ange is the same. He wants to make a name for himself. Football is his life.....if he fails at celtic he knows his chance at glory will never happen. We have a great manager. I can feel it

My predictions for the season ahead....and I'll tick them off as we go.
1. We will qualify for champions league.
2. We will equal or better the highest scoreline in Premier league history.
3. We will win every match against sevco.
4. In one of those matches we will equal or better the 7-1 scoreline that we handed to their 1st version.
5. Slippy will be sacked.
6. We will win the treble.
7. We will win the league my a record breaking margin........
And finally, after all that.
8. The motherwell manager will win manager of the season.....obviously

A lack of depth within the squad at present would make me say not a chance of it, yet a few decent signings then anything could become possible
