MEAT LOAF

R.I.P Meat Loaf ๐Ÿ™

Who doesn't have Bat out of Hell in their collection?
R.I.P Marvin Lee Aday. (I've only just found out that was his real name).
One of THE must have albums of the 20th Century.

I had it but it wasn't mine. Somehow a mate of mine left it, and about 30 others, in my flat when I was in my 20's. We lost touch for some reason and about 16 years later I bumped into him.
Hey! Have you still got my albums he said!
Sure. I said, I dropped them off a couple of days later.
He couldn't believe I still had them.

I do love a bit of Meatloaf - giving it laldy to Paradise By The Dashboard Light. The E-Street Band's Roy Bittan played piano & keyboards and Max Weinberg played drums on Bat Out of Hell.

It is very sad news, but I think his health hasn't been the best recently so he is at rest now. I absolutely loved him in Fight Club too, and of course Rocky Horror. RIP.

Very sad news, although he was ill for a while, bat out of hell was one of the best records ever made,

โ€œAnd I think somebody somewhere must be tolling a bell
And the last thing I see is my heart, still beating,
Breaking out of my body and flying away
Like a bat out of hellโ€

RIP big man, your music will live for evermore โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™

on another note news of a sad passing for all the old rockers on the noise, budgie bassist John Burke Shelley, aged 71 the Welsh rockers formed in 1967 and were still giging, one of the most influential and underrated British bands of all time
RIP Burkie๐Ÿ™
